A Longer Summary Report, Showing the Data from all Participants, is also prepared. In the summary report, of which this report is an example, each laboratory is identified by a code number so that the information is maintained on a confidential basis. However, instruments are identified by type so participants can compare their results with those obtained on similar instruments of different manufacture. This report includes test averages, best values and standard deviations for individual participants and for the group as a whole.A participant should be able to readily determine the level and variability of his results in comparison with those of the other laboratories.Repeatability and Reproducibility Statements such as Contained in ASTM, TAPPI and ISO Standards are included at the end of the report.Participants can check their performance level against the precision statement given in the test method or specification.
