An extensive analysis is made of all results on the angular distribution of 7T-JU decays in the nuclearemulsion stack used by Hulubei et al. Instead of the conclusion of their previous analyses, which favored anisotropy for this distribution, it is shown that there is some lack of agreement between the several experiments using plates from this stack. The results of two experiments, which seems to be the safe part of scanning of this stack, are in good agreement with isotropy.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
