029ChemInform Abstract The hitherto unknown title compound is formed between 1360 and 1380 rc C in the system BaO-MgO-TiO2. According to its X-ray analysis it has the space group P63/mmc with Z=2 and is isostructural with magnetoplumbite, PbFe12O19.

Durch Reaktion von BaTiO3 (aus BaCO3 und TiO2 bei 1670 K) mit Fe2O3 bei 1620 bis 1670 K in Gegenwart von Sauerstoff oder Luft werden Proben des Systems BaTiO3‐Fe2O3 hergestellt.
