requires a total time of 20 minutes per sample, compared to an operator time of 60 to 80 minutes and an elapsed time of 240 minutes for the gravimetric method.This method has wide potential application since it is based on the absorbance of the sulfonate group and is not concerned with vibrations of the parent molecule.
