-085Preparation of Some 2-Aryl-1-bromocyclopropanes by Irradiation of the Corresponding gem-Dibromocyclopropanes with Pyrex-Filtered Light.-Acetone-sensitized reduction of the dibromides (I) yields the monobromides (II) and (III) in the most cases with excellent yields. The cis/trans ratios are almost identical with those observed when the reaction is carried out with Bu3SnH. -(SYDNES, L. K.; NILSSEN, A. V.; JOER-GENSEN, E.; PETTERSEN, A.; Acta Chem. Scand. 46 (1992) 7, 661-668; Dep. Chem., Univ. Tromsoe, N-9000 Tromsoe, Norway; EN)
Fifteen members of the title compounds such as (III), (VII) or (X) are prepared by dihalocarbene addition to the corresponding alkenes, and their reduction behavior toward Bu3SnH is investigated.
Die Reduktion der Dibromcyclopropan‐Derivate (I) mit Lithiumaluminiumhydrid führt zu den Produkten (II)‐(V), wobei deren Anteile von den Reaktionsbedingungen abhängen.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
