The air, which has been preliminarily purified of mechanical contaminants in a coarse cleanup filter with felt elements, passes into the drier and subsequently passes through a bed of silica gel and zeolite.The dried air passes into the diesel generator cylinders through a fine purification filter which is intended to shut out dust-like particles of the adsorbent. The duration of a cycle of continuous block operation under a nominal work regime is less than 25 min.An experimental specimen of the drying block has successfully passed acceptance tests and has been adopted for batch production.
