Computer modeling of the mechanical properties, phase composition, and structural parameters of hightemperature nickel alloys has recently come into widespread use in their development. In our study, we examine the expediency of alloying pelletized high-temperature nickel alloys with carbon. The resulting regression curves of mechanical properties versus chemical composition were analyzed from the standpoint of the effect attained as a result of increasing the carbon content in three types of alloys, distinguished by the ratio of basic "y'-forming elements." aluminum, titanium, and niobium.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
