One of the key factors of innovative development is the availability of a favorable innovative environment ensuring the transformation of ideas and developments into market products, introduction of these products into most important branches of economics and social sphere, as well as allowing saving the unique set of scientific and engineering schools. But the key problem for implementation of effective innovations is the absence of favorable environment and innovative climate promoting creation of innovations, ensuring the growth of global competitive ability, labor productivity, and life quality of population. Thus, the formation and development of the innovative environment as the most important condition for implementation of effective innovations represents the actual scientific task of significant national economic importance. Digital technologies are best developed in a harmonious ecosystem. Nowadays, ecosystem-based projects are becoming more popular, when a community of people connected by common interests is formed; the economy is very rapidly migrating into the history of ecosystems. In the next 10 years, we should expect the competition of ecosystems, digital platforms integrated between each other: in the upcoming global digital economy, that economic contour will win, which will be the fastest growing in the number and quality of digital platforms integrated into a single ecosystem. That is, the digital economy should be seen as an ecosystem economy.

The current stage of economic development in Russia is characterized by a new mainstream in management theory – the promotion of management technology to leading roles in the management of economic entities, priority is given to managers. It is believed that they are able to bring enterprises to the desired level of financial efficiency. Management developments of previous generations of managers, especially Russian ones, are not sufficiently taken into account. The article considers the formation of industrial development management, the contribution, first of all, of Russian economists and practitioners to the formation of the management paradigm. It is shown that the General principles of an integrated approach were developed in the first quarter of the twentieth century and Russian scientists and statesmen played a significant role in this. The main directions of formation of management tools, the increasing role of science-based planning in it are revealed.

The practice of using free economic zones in Russia is not straightforward. The regime of the free economic zone was tested back in the 12-13 centuries in Europe. The first full-fledged free economic zone began to operate in Germany. In Russia, such zones began to appear in the late 90s of the 20th century. The Russian practice of applying the above mechanism is still not effective enough. This is a consequence of the lack of development of the regulatory framework. The object of research is the institute of free economic zones in world practice, the subject of research is the activity of free economic zones on the territory of the Krasnodar Territory. The goal of creating free economic zones - catalysts for the economic growth of regions and its participants - is updated economic relations. The goals of free economic zones are to stimulate the economic development of the country, to establish foreign economic relations. In the course of the study, differences between free and special economic zones from other regions were revealed. It has been established that the countries of the free economic zone differ from other territories in the following: maximum tax privileges, temporary exemption from them in general; the effect of benefits on the import of products necessary for the company; reduced utility tariffs; simplified business registration procedure. The bonuses offered to entrepreneurs and legal entities working in such areas are characterized: the ability to attract highly qualified domestic personnel; preferential tax regimes, which has a beneficial effect on reducing costs and allows you to obtain more favorable conditions in the market; reducing the cost of import and export, which significantly increases the profitability of the enterprise.

Investment processes, being an integral part of the market economy, have a significant impact on macroeconomic indicators, tax potential, financial stability, economic growth, competitiveness of the investment object, the region and the state as a whole. Therefore, such economic categories as "investment", "investment attractiveness", "investment climate" are of interest as an object of research for many theoretical scientists and practical economists. To a large extent, ensuring the economic security of the country is characterized by the creation of an effective system for organizing control over financial activities in the state, which limits the outflow of capital from the national economy. In this regard, a comprehensive solution to the legal, political and administrative task of protecting national interests is required. The priority in the national security system is the economic security of the state, characterized by the presence of a steadily developing economy. The key indicator of the "economic health" of the state is the presence of a favorable investment climate, which is characterized by the ratio of investment attractiveness and investment risks, which is manifested in the scale, structure and dynamics of investment processes. Current trends that indicate instability, unfavorable market conditions and lack of transparency in investment activities in the Russian context confirm the relevance and timeliness of this study.
