In the present work the fabrication process and properties of periodic one-dimensional magnetophotonic crystal GGG (111) : M2) bismuth content were described. The Faraday effect and the parameters of ferromagnetic resonance were measured at different stages of magnetophotonic crystal formation. The theoretical and experimental magnetophotonic crystal transmission spectra displayed three photonic band gaps in the wavelength range of 450 -1800 nm. The Faraday effect enhancement at the vicinity of the second photonic band gap at wavelength 710 nm was 2.6 times in comparison with combined (M1 + M2) layer and the effective value of Faraday rotation at the same wavelength reached -6.7 8/lm.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
