The hospitality industry is now becoming more complex as the guests no longer prefer conventional hotels. Islamic hotels especially face similar issues, forcing human resource managers to find new ways of managing relationships with employees and guests. Good relationships within an organization which often displayed by organizational culture are the main incentives to stimulate positive behavior among employees. The purpose of this paper is to examine the variables related to the performance of Islamic hotels. We use a cross-sectional and correlational research design for this quantitative study. As many as 50 sharia hotel employees from several sharia hotels in the city of Padang participated in the questionnaire survey. SPSS 21 analysis was émployed, and the results showed that the independent spiritual leadership variable affected hotel performance with a significance value (0.045) smaller than the alpha value of 0.05. And for the second hypothesis of the Islamic Islamic organizational culture as an independent variable, it is evident that it influences the performance of sharia hotels in the city of Padang with a significance value of (0.000) smaller than an alpha value of 0.05. The findings-this study shows the importance of spiritual leadership and Islamic organizational culture on improving performance for Islamic hotels. Findings should be beneficial to managers and owners of Islamic hotels that aim to improve their relationships with employees and increase their productivity.
The purpose of this study is to look at the role of organizational commitment as a mediator between spiritual leadership and Sharia Hotels performance in Padang City, Indonesia, with a sample size of 50 respondents, and this study uses path analysis. The results showed that spiritual leadership has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment with a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05. Organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on Sharia Hotels Performance with a significance value of 0.000 < 5%. Spiritual leadership also has a positive and significant effect on Sharia Hotels Performance of 0.000 < 5%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh Electronic Word of Mouth foto wisata terhadap keputusan berkunjung wisatawan di kota Padang. Dimana Electronic Word of Mouth akan dilihat dari segi (1) Pengaruh concern for others terhadap keputusan berkunjung wisatawan di Kota Padang, (2) Pengaruh expressing positive feeling terhadap keputusan berkunjung wisatawan di Kota Padang, (3) Pengaruh economic incentives terhadap keputusan berkunjung wisatawan di Kota Padang, (4) Pengaruh concern for others, expressing positive feeling dan economic incentives terhadap keputusan berkunjung wisatawan di Kota Padang. Penelitian dilakukan di kota Padang. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah para wisatawan yang berkunjung ke destinasi wisata kota Padang tahun 2018 dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 138 orang. Metode penarikan sampel dengan menggunakan metode nonprobability sampling dengan teknik accidental sampling. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear berganda. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan yang terangkum pada penjelasan di atas dengan menggunakan uji t, diperoleh hasil bahwa Concern for Others, Expressing Positive Feeling dan Economic Incentives berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan berkunjung wisatawan di kota Padang secara parsial. Kemudian nilai adjusted R square adalah sebesar 0,622 hal ini berarti 62,2% dari keputusan berkunjung wisatawan di kota Padang yang dapat dijelaskan oleh Concern for Others, Expressing Positive Feeling dan Economic Incentives sedangkan sisanya sebesar 37,8% dijelaskan oleh faktor-faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Selanjutnya concern for Others, Expressing Positive Feeling dan Economic Incentives secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan berkunjung wisatawan di kota Padang.
The development of sharia-based hotels has become a popular business and it is believed that the development of sharia hotels will experience a drastic increase due to the level of business awareness of sharia concepts. This study aims to improve employee job satisfaction through spiritual leadership and Islamic organizational culture. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The unit of analysis is employees who work at Sharia Hotels in Padang. The results showed that partially Spiritual Leadership variables had a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction and Islamic Organizational Culture variables had a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction variables. Simultaneously the Spiritual Leadership and Islamic Organizational Culture has a positive and significant effect on Employee Job Satisfaction with an adjusted R2 value of 0.204 This shows that the magnitude of the influence of the Islamic Organizational Spiritual Leadership and Culture on the variable Job satisfaction is 20.4%.
This study is about tourist’s motivation to visit Kota Pariaman, in West Sumatra. This study has aim to determine the push factors, and pulls factors to visit Kota Pariaman. The respondents are 100 people. Based on their genders, there are 46% male and 54% female. Domestic tourists are 95%, and 5%the other nationalities. Student visitors are 28%, 18% are retired, and 64% are workers in various sectors. The result of structural equation modelling (SEM) analysis indicates that the push factor correlation has not significantly affect to the tourist visiting to the Tourism Kota Pariaman. The correlations between attractiveness factors have significantly affect to the tourist visiting to the Tourism City of Kota Pariaman. Therefore, the management of Kota Pariaman Tourism maybe directed to highlight the attractiveness of the city e.g. the uniqueness of the city, the city community activities, culture or traditions, natural beauty of the city, the availability of lodging, culinary, public facilities, visitor center, distance from the airport, the distance from the capital, and availability of transport. ABSTRAK Studi ini adalah tentang motivasi wisatawan untuk mengunjungi Kota Pariaman, di Sumatra Barat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan faktor pendorong, dan menarik faktor untuk mengunjungi Kota Pariaman. Responden adalah 100 orang. Berdasarkan jenis kelamin mereka, ada 46% pria dan 54% wanita. Wisatawan domestik 95%, dan 5% kebangsaan lainnya. Pengunjung pelajar adalah 28%, 18% pensiunan, dan 64% adalah pekerja di berbagai sektor. Hasil analisis pemodelan persamaan struktural (SEM) menunjukkan bahwa korelasi faktor pendorong tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kunjungan wisatawan ke Kota Pariaman. Korelasi antara faktor-faktor daya tarik berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kunjungan wisatawan ke Kota Wisata Kota Pariaman. Oleh karena itu, pengelolaan Pariwisata Kota Pariaman mungkin diarahkan untuk menyoroti daya tarik kota, mis. keunikan kota, kegiatan masyarakat kota, budaya atau tradisi, keindahan alam kota, ketersediaan penginapan, kuliner, fasilitas publik, pusat pengunjung, jarak dari bandara, jarak dari ibukota, dan ketersediaan transportasi.
