<p><em>This article explores the application of production differentiation strategy by women empowerment through local wisdom of Nasi Koco in the herritage area, Gajah Mada Street, Denpasar-Bali. The purpose of this article is to increase the sales of Nasi Koco by implementing new strategies to win the competition in similar businesses that have sprung up. The strategy that can be offered is a product differentiation, so that the product is more varied and not monotonous, that attracts consumer interest. The product differentiation strategy offered refers more to women's empowerment through local wisdom, namely making products or food variations needed for ceremonies, where as we know people's lives in Bali are full of a series of religious ceremonies. The study employed qualitative approaches using narrative research by observation, interview, and documentation. The result of the study base on an in-depth interview with Balinese women who understand Balinese traditional culture, the advice that can be given is to make product variations, not just Nasi Jinggo or Nasi Wrap as usual, but to make it more varied. Suggested variations are Nasi Tumpeng, Nasi Yasa, and Nasi Kelangi, which are usually used for traditional activities in Bali.</em><em></em></p>
Pandemic COVID-19 hard impact on the people’s economy, especially the tourism industry in Bali. Many businesses close, and workers lost their jobs. And started businesses independently, as Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). However, with less basic business knowledge, it is vulnerable to the risk of surviving its business. Therefore, to cope with these conditions, they need the support of strategic human resources, business strategy, and attainability with ergonomics principles. Ergonomics is the method that is used to harmonize workers with their work tools, workstations, workplace, and work environment. And participatory ergonomics methods to increase workers healthy, safety, comfort, and productivity to attain human well-being. A case study of the rearrangement workspace of “Nasi Koco” production creates a workstation wider than before and makes the work environment better. The workers are safe, comfortable, and work more efficiently, which indicated an increase in productivity.
ABSTRAKCara pandang masyarakat mengenai perubahan pengelolaan sampah melalui edukasi komprehensif perlu dilakukan secara berkelanjutan. Keberadaan bank sampah di tengah masyarakat saat ini memberikan manfaat yang luar biasa baik ditinjau dari dampak ekonomi, sosial maupun lingkungan. Lokasi Bank Sampah Artha Sedana Lestari berada di Depo Sari Sedana, Desa Pemecutan Kaja, Kecamatan Denpasar Utara. Permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra saat ini adalah kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat dalam mengelola sampah rumah tangga, yaitu melakukan pemilahan antara sampah organik dan non organik. Manajemen pengelolaan bank sampah juga perlu diperbaiki. Hal yang tak kalah pentingnya adalah permasalahan sanitasi lingkungan dan individu yang bekerja di dalamnya. Beberapa solusi ditawarkan diantaranya: penyuluhan pengelolaan manajemen bank sampah melalui pengenalan MLM (Multi Level Marketing) dalam merekrut anggota, pengadaan sarana dan prasarana yang diperlukan bank sampah serta penyuluhan tentang sanitasi diri dan lingkungan. Keberadaan Bank Sampah Artha Sedana Lestari memberikan manfaat langsung yaitu lingkungan menjadi lebih bersih, menciptakan kemandirian warga secara ekonomi, menstimulasi kreativitas dan inovasi dari masyarakat sehingga meningkatkan kesejahteraan warga.Kata kunci: bank sampah, edukasi komprehensif, sanitasi diri, sanitasi lingkungan, kesejahteraan warga.ABSTRACT Change of perspective in community about the waste needs to be done through comprehensive education with sustainable action. The existence of a waste bank in the community now provides tremendous benefits both in terms of economic, social and environmental impacts. Location of Artha Sedana Lestari Waste Bank is in Pemecutan Kaja Village, North Denpasar District. The problem is the lack of public awareness in managing household waste, which is to sort between organic and non-organic waste. Management of waste bank savings also needs to be improved. Equally important is the problem of environmental and individuals sanitation who work in it. Some solutions offered include: education management of waste bank through the introduction of MLM (Multi Level Marketing) in recruiting members of the waste bank, procurement of facilities and infrastructure needed by the waste bank as well as counseling on environmental and individuals sanitation. The existence of the Artha Sedana Lestari Waste Bank provides direct benefits such as environment becomes cleaner, creating economic independence of citizens, stimulate creativity and innovation from the community so as to improve the welfare of citizens.Keywords: waste bank, comprehensive education, self sanitation, environmental sanitation, community welfare
The economic life of the community during the Covid 19 pandemic experienced a decline due to restrictions on community activities both on a large scale and on a micro scale. The decline in community income due to decreased economic activity, which mostly comes from the tourism sector on the island of Bali, especially for Denpasar as the provincial capital, certainly has an impact on family financial management behavior. The location of this research is in Denpasar City using quantitative methods and the analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The method used in this study is a survey method using online questionnaires as a tool for data collection with 65 respondents. Financial knowledge has an unstandardized beta value of 0.715 which is the highest value compared to the other three variables so that in this study financial knowledge is the dominant variable affecting family financial management behavior during the pandemic. Thus it is very important to increase knowledge about finance that is not only obtained from educational institutions. but can be obtained from family, society and from social media.
This study aims to determine how the influence of asset structure, profitability, company size, and liquidity on capital structure partially or simultaneously. The data used in this study were taken from financial reports that can be accessed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) or www.idx.co.id and their respective websites from the manufacturing companies in the cosmetics and household equipment< subsector. Sampling uses a purposive sampling technique and gets the results of 5 company samples that fit the research criteria. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that partially the asset structure has no significant effect on the capital structure with the calculated T calculation value of 1.664, and a significant value of 0.112, profitability has a significant effect on the capital structure with the calculation result of the calculated T value of -3.720 and a significant value of 0.001, company size has a significant effect on capital structure with the calculated T value of - 2,950 and a significant value of 0.008, and the liquidity has a significant effect on the capital structure with a calculated T value of -8,082 and a significance value of 0,000. While the simultaneous structure of assets, profitability, company size, and liquidity have significant effect on capital structure with the calculated F calculation of 34.620 and a significant value of 0.000.
