In the last decades, in the majority of the developed countries of the world, one of the trends in obtaining food products, including those of animal origin, has been obtaining organic products that do not contain artificial ingredients: antibiotics, growth promoters, GMOs, or any other biologically active substances of other than the natural origin. Currently, phytobiotics, i.e., active components of various plants are successfully used as their substitutes for preserving the health of animals and poultry, and for improving their productivity. The authors have studied the effect of the extract of Calendula Officinalis obtained at the Agroecology scientific laboratory of the Kemerovo SAI using the method of water-ethanol extraction followed by low temperature drying on the egg productivity of Manchurian quails. It has been found that out of the three dosages of the preparation used in the experiment (800 mg, 1,600 mg and 2,400 mg per 1 kg of feed) the maximum positive effect on the studied parameters (egg production, morphological and chemical composition of eggs, feed used for the production of 10 eggs, poultry preservation rate) was observed for the dosage of Calendula Officinalis being equal to 800 mg/kg of feed
Medicinal plants are producers of many biologically active substances – compounds that can influence biological processes in animals; such compounds include cardiac glycosides, saponins, sterols, carotenoids, polyphenols, alkaloids, vitamins, quinones, as well as substances with specific aroma, taste and color. Objects of the research were the extracts of purple coneflower (Echinacea purpurea), maral root (Leuzea carthamoides), holy thistle (Silybum marianum) and marigold (Calendula officinalis) obtained by low-temperature water-ethanolic extraction followed by low-temperature vacuum drying of the extracts. The content of biologically active substances was determined in accordance with the standard methods of chemical analysis for phytobiotic substances. As shown by the results of the studies, phytobiotic substances contain ascorbic acid, polysaccharides, tannins, carotenoids, phytosterols, fructose and inulin. They also contain many flavonoids, which, presumably, efficiently alter the economic-useful qualities of agricultural animals and poultry. The phytobiotical feed additives may indirectly control the intestinal microflora, supporting the internal protective mechanisms of the animal organism. The use of phytobiotical feed additives in the diet of farm animals and poultry is rationally substantiated, and contributes to abandoning the use of antibiotics in the fodder.
T HE production of new fortified feed supplements and concentrates, balanced by the organic nutrients content, takes one of the leading positions in agriculture manufacture. Food production waste has recently been one of the forms of an accessible source of biologically active substances (oilcake, oil meal, molasses, treacle, etc.). Proper processing of these raw products allows you to use it in obtaining highly nutritious feed supplements with a high content of protein, minerals, vitamins, and sugars. Food waste does not harm the animal's body; it was found; they have easily processed and high biological value. This work is presents the formulation of a new extruded feed supplement, using it in the main ration of lactation cows increases the productivity of the animal by 10-12%. The mass protein fraction in the obtained milk was in 9-11% higher comparative to milk from cows without receiving an additional feed supplement in their rations. It is proved that the developed extruded feed supplement does not adversely affect the body of lactation cows, which is confirmed by a research of the morphological blood composition.A supplementation dairy cow with 3 kg per cow daily for 15 days of our studded concentrated mixture is recommended.
