Today in Russia gastronomic tourism has made a spurt of dynamic development. This was caused not only by the current situation with COVID-2019, which contributes to the development of domestic tourism, but also by the increased interest in this type of tourism in general. Gastronomic tourism not only contributes to the growth of the flow of tourists to a particular region, in order to visit gastronomic festivals, fairs, etc. events, acquaintance with the gastronomic features of the destination, but also contributes to the development of agriculture, processing industries, and ultimately plays an important role in shaping the image of a particular region and the country as a whole. In some areas of gastronomic tourism, Russia is an innovator, whose experience can be used by other countries as well.
The hotel business in Russia is developing at an accelerated pace. The increase in the number of collective accommodation facilities and their incomes is associated with a stable economic and socio-political situation in the country, with effective state regulation of the tourism sector and the formation of a country's image favorable for tourism and travel. Foreign hotel chains are actively introducing themselves into the hotel services market in Russia. At the same time, Russian hotel chains are being created, intensifying their activities not only in the Russian, but also in the international hospitality industry market.
Historic reenactment and it’s case — military-historic reenactment are def ned in the article. Historic reenactment сan be def ned as an educational activity, a hobby or an activity for amusement, leisure or as a reproduction of the material and spiritual culture of a particular epoch and also may have scientif c purposes. Historic reenactment is particularly overviewed . Live history and historic tournaments (buhurts) are emphasized in the article. Further in the article it is said about the process of preparation and organization of historic reenactments, the whole industry has been formed in this sphere. Historic reenactments are retrospectively overviewed from ancient times through middle ages to modern times when the f rst clubs dealing with them appeared. Also directions of historic reenactments are shown here: Roman empire, Middle ages, Napoleon wars, Religious festivals, World War I, World War II. Numerous examples of historic reenactments in Russia are depicted as well as their impact on the development of event-tourism and theme-tourism. Particular features and f nancial aspects of historic reenactments carried out in Moscow are spoken about. The growing role of historic reenactments in the development of event-tourism in Moscow is described, particularly the military-historic festival “Times and epochs” is spoken about. Financial aspects of historic reenactments in Moscow are viewed upon.
Incentive tourism is gaining popularity in the corporate culture of Russian organizations, as an element of staff motivation. The trends of recent years show that the geography of exotic countries for incentive tourism is expanding, unusual events are offered based on bright, emotional impressions, which are developed in conjunction with customer organizations and MICE agencies or travel agencies. These can be a case studies — traveling with a surprise, interactive incentive programs, team building programs, an interesting quest, etc. Sometimes, the purpose of an organization is to identify employee qualities or to observe how employees will behave in an unusual stressful situation. Incentive travel is the fastest growing sector of the business event industry with the highest expenditure per capita and the most extensive coverage.
