Industrial dust is one of the most common harmful factors in the working environment. Because of it, equipment can fail. When inhaled, it has a negative effect on health and can lead to specific diseases. It reduces visibility in the production area. The aim of the study is to achieve the necessary environmental effect that ensures a decrease in the amount of harmful emissions in the working area, i.e. the ecological effect can be determined by the amount of pollutants, the spread of which is prevented as a result of the installation of highly efficient technological equipment specially designed for these purposes.

Enterprises of the oil and gas complex related to the budgetary-forming ones and they provide about 50% of the annual budget in our country. At the same time, these enterprises regarded as the most fire-hazard objects. Currently the problems of fire safety provision for the objects of the oil and gas complex are the most especially actual. The development of the enterprises accompanied by a complication of the technological processes and production as well. These processes invariably entail an increase of amount of combustible gases, combustible and volatile flammable liquids at these objects of oil and gas industry. As a result, it became possible the appearance and uncontrolled development of the fires which are capable to lead to the large-scale anthropogenic disasters B along with significant human, material and ecologic losses. Therefore, an estimation of the fire safety for the substances utilized at the objects of oil and gas complex proves to be a key element for the provision of the fire safety at the protected objects.
Current developments are devoted to the environmental safety of the foundry. There is a significant amount of pollutants, according to dust, which is released in the working area, during the manufacture of metal structures for high buildings. From the point of dust extraction, the most unfavorable areas are shot blasting, sand-blasting chambers and knockout grills. The weight fraction of dust composition with diameters up to 20 μm reaches 43,8% by mass, according to experimental analysis. This kind of dust is the most dangerous to employees and also it creates problems for dust-cleaning in the air.
