We report a Astrakhan ricketsiosis fever in woman who came from Astrakhan. On admission she had fever, intoxication syndrome, exanthema. In complex examination of blood serum by ELISA were reveled IgM and IgG to Rickettsia conorii on the 15th day of the disease.
Tasks. The new coronavirus infection SARS-CoV-2 during the period of the natural epidemic rise of respiratory infections can occur in combination with them. The question arises about the features of the clinical and laboratory diagnostic characteristics of mixed infections, which is the purpose of this message.
Methods. We analyzed a group of patients with a combined course of acute coronavirus infection with SARS-CoV-2 and influenza using clinical and laboratory instrumental data.
Results. It is noteworthy that the combined course of these nosologies is characterized by a significant decrease in oxygen saturation in the blood when breathing in the air, moderately pronounced changes on CT of the chest organs in moderately severe disease. Absolute lymphopenia, high CRP and fibrinogen levels can be specific markers. confirming the viral etiology of the disease. At the same time, we drew attention to the fact that the high titer of antibodies to SARS-CoV-2 did not always correspond to the complete elimination of coronavirus from the body in patients with mixed infection.
Conclusions. The results suggest that indicators of fibrinogen activation, lymphopenia severity, CRP level, and their ratio can be used to assess the severity of the course of the disease in patients with mixed infection.
