c-tDCS abolished neglect amelioration after PA, possibly because stimulation affected the sensorimotor network controlling prism adaptation. Instead, a-tDCS PPC boosted neglect amelioration after PA probably thanks to increased excitability of residual tissue in the lesioned hemisphere, which in turn might reduce dysfunctional over-excitability of the intact hemisphere.
Only recently is research merging demand and supply approaches in explaining tourist market equilibria. This paper innovates in three ways. One: we jointly consider demand and supply explanatory variables and spillover effects originating from contiguous areas by designing a unilateral gravity model augmented with spatial effects (spatial Durbin model). Two: we raise the economic profile by prioritizing an expenditure variable over flow variables (arrivals, overnight stays, length of stay) and taking into account travel costs (via the origin-destination distance).Three: we differentiate spatial contexts by focusing on international tourist origins and on local (NUTS3) destinations. Results confirm previous literature only in part.
This paper investigates the relevance of relative prices and world income as determinants of food exports for the top trading countries in the period 1992-2012 using a panel data framework. We find that price elasticities generally take lower values for processed goods, and the opposite holds for income elasticities. Processed goods are also characterised by an inverse relationship between price elasticities and average unit values. The analysis suggests that both emerging and advanced countries can be expected to increase their export specialisation in processed goods. Furthermore, developed economies can face fierce competition from emerging countries by enhancing the quality content of their processed good exports.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
