This is the first large database of reference ranges for ventricular and atrial functions, volumes, and mass in young Caucasian men and women devoid of cardiovascular disease and risk factors. These data will contribute to improving the accuracy of CMR interpretation for clinical and research applications.
We report a case of pentosan polysulfate sodium-induced pigmentary maculopathy with nonleaking cystoid macular edema in both eyes. Our patient showed marked cystoid macular edema improvement and increased VA with treatment. The nonleaking characteristic of the cystoid macular edema associated with pentosan polysulfate sodium toxicity and its treatment with anti–vascular endothelial growth factor have never been described.
