The purpose of this study was to determine the pattern of the decision of farmers about salak in choosing the marketing channel and what factors influence what is done by salak farmers in choosing the marketing channel in Parsalakan village, West Angkola District, South Tapanuli District. North Sumatra. Based on the results of research, decision-making pattern of salak farmers in choosing marketing channel is dominated by husband and wife team roles are equal. While the results of statistical analysis of farming experience provide a significant effect on the decision of farmers. While age, cash requirement, length of formal education, distance, the number of dependents of the family and the area of land partially do not give a significant effect on the decision of farmers in choosing marketing channels.Keywords: the pattern of decision-making, factors that influence decision-making, farmers salak, marketing channels
This research aims to find out the development patterns and trends in import demand for garlic in Indonesia. Observing the pattern and trend of garlic imports will provide invaluable information for program planning, program evaluation, and policy development activities for domestic garlic development in the future. The data used in this study is the annual demand for garlic imports in Indonesia from 1995-2019. Three trend methods are applied including linear, quadratic, and exponential methods. The best trend was determined by examining the MAD, MES, ME, and MAPE values. The best trend model for garlic import demand in Indonesia, according to this study, is an ascending exponential trend. The trend of garlic import demands in Indonesia increases along with the increase of garlic consumption and domestic garlic production in Indonesia.
The aims of this activity are 1) to introduce and to apply the 5R principles to handle the household waste, 2) to introduce and to apply composting method of the organic household waste in Takakura Bin, 3) to introduce and to apply the producing method of recycled paper, and 4) to evaluate the technology which introduced and applied. The participants are 11 housewives. The activity methods are extention and practicing (learning by doing). All of participants are exited. The results of evaluation analysis show that 78,41 % said that the technology which introduced and applied are very good and 21,59 % participants said that the technology are good.
Plan-based agro-industry development of coastal areas in the city of Bengkulu continue in effect and be a leading program in a variety of program design opportunities. However, up to now there has been a lot of information that can be presented relating to the advantages of each agro-industry that has growing to be driven by the strength of coastal resources are available as ongoing. Availability of coastal resources be a key determinant of the agro-industry excellence being developed. The wide variety of resources will determine variations agroindustrial commodities. This study will identify leading agro-industry coastal areas with potential priority approach coastal resources and the efficiency of application of processing technology has been used. The study was conducted from May to November 2014, applying analytical methods Location Quotion (LQ) and Shift Share (SS). The results obtained from this study is the leading commodity in Bengkulu city coastal resources better competitiveness is the fisheries product and milkfish. The potential commodity of coastal resources Bengkulu city which also has a good competitiveness is catfish. For the development of agro-industries in the coastal areas of the Bengkulu city is directed at the use of resources that have both advantages and competitiveness, which is based on the fisheries product resources and milkfish. Catfish agro-industries are also recommended to be developed for this commodity has potential advantages and has good competitive.Keywords: agro-industry, coastal resources, leading commodity
