Aim to analyze the significance of factors of technological profile in innovative companies that contribute to the return of capital in innovation (ROEI). The method used was design of experiments, by the structure of non-balanced factorial design. The field research was done with seventy companies. The main return of the capital applied in innovation, should support the open innovation system, and exclusively systematic studies of ideas for new products.

Este artigo aplicou a ferramenta Planejamento de Experimentos para buscar evidncias de sua potencial contribuio para a tomada de deciso, neste caso em pequenos empreendimentos. Para atingir este propsito estudou-se a importncia que determinadas variveis socioeconmicas tem para a qualidade dos servios prestados por pequenos empreendimentos, principalmente os supermercados. Foram selecionadas unidades de pequenos supermercados varejistas em trs municpios do Vale do Paraba Paulista. Os dados foram coletados por meio de um questionrio estruturado e analisados pelo mtodo experimental estatstico inferencial e modelo experimental fatorial fracionado, por meio da matriz de Plackett-Burman N=20. Com relao ao municpio A, os resultados mostraram que a faixa etria e o local de residncia dos clientes estudados possuem significncia para a qualidade dos pequenos supermercados, enquanto que para os municpios: B e C, os fatores que tem significncia, so respectivamente, clientes que trabalham e possuem carro. Pode-se concluir que o Planejamento de Experimentos adequado s pequenas empresas varejistas e, capaz de auxiliar os gestores a tomar decises sustentadas por maior grau de confiabilidade.
