The data were obtained by searching the medical records of hospital users, for the period of one year, totaling 160 records. The survey instrument consisted of questions regarding demographic information, history of hospitalizations, health condition, origin, types of referrals and health services used. Through the recognition of flow for the traffic of users in mental health services, it has become possible to identify users using services with different complexities and objectives; however, there are flaws in the articulation and communication between care levels that compromise comprehensiveness and continuity of care.
