Perkembangan motorik kasar merupakan perkembangan gerakan tubuh yang berpusat pada penggerakan seluruh otot-otot besar (big muscle). Contohnya, kemampuan duduk, berjalan, berlari dan sebagainya. Aktivitas motorik memiliki peranan yang sangat penting dalam mengembangkan keterampilan anak. Dengan aktif bergerak, seorang anak dapat mengembangkan keterampilan motorik kasar. Ada banyak cara yang dilakukan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan motorik kasar pada anak, salah satunya melalui permainan tradisional. Namun, semakin majunya Ilmu Pengetahuan dan Teknologi (IPTEK) menyebabkan permainan tradisional mulai jarang dimainkan oleh anak-anak. Hal ini menyebabkan anak-anak beralih pada permainan gadget yang lebih menarik dan mudah untuk diakses. Dengan gadget, kemampuan anak dalam bersosialisasi menjadi kurang dan keterampilan motorik kasar tidak bisa dikembangkan. Berdasarkan fenomena yang didapat, peneliti melakukan kajian literatur untuk mengetahui peranan penting permainan tradisional dalam meningkatkan keterampilan motorik kasar pada anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur atau tinjauan pustaka. Adapun data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan data pembantu yang diperoleh dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti sebelumnya dengan topik yang sama. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode Preferred Reporting Items for Sistematic Review and Meta Analysis (PRISMA). Berdasarkan dari hasil studi literatur dapat disimpulkan bahwa permainan tradisional dapat menjadi solusi dalam meningkatkan perkembangan kemampuan motorik kasar anak.
This study aims to improve the technical ability of students in reading references related to learning process. The basis of this research is based on case studies and role play. The technique used in this research is skimming and scanning techniques. The course taken in this study is subject that researchers are capable of in learning process, namely sports management. Based on the process, this research is categorized using quantitative and qualitative approaches to strengthen research data. The subject used in this study is 30 students of the Physical Education Health and Recreation Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, the University of Riau. In accumulating the data, the researchers took all the data by means of observation and questionnaire. The quantitative data obtained in this study were analyzed by using software with the results in the form of percentages, maximum scores, and averages. While the qualitative data in this study were analyzed by making a narration, describing the data that were taken and then concluding the final results of the study. It can be concluded that there is a significant difference in student's satisfaction before and after the treatment of skimming and scanning techniques in sport management course . The satisfaction obtained from the skimming and scanning techniques can trigger self-motivation from students to continue reading from various references and can affect the emergence of student's interest in writing.
Technological advancements have permeated the field of education, including the use of multimedia-based learning materials in the learning process. This study aims to help students of the Department of Physical Education at Universitas Riau overcome the obstacles they face when writing scientific papers, especially when preparing a thesis. By harnessing the potential of TikTok social media as a learning resource, it is anticipated that students’ interest and motivation, especially in scientific writing, will be enhanced. This research adopts a quantitative descriptive approach and employs the survey method, utilisingutilizing a questionnaire as the research instrument and descriptive statistics as the data analysis technique. The population and sample of this study consisted of 26 students from the 2020 class of the Department of Physical Education at Universitas Riau. Findings showed that 9 students (34.6%) strongly agreed, 10 students (38.5%) agreed, and 7 students (26.9%) expressed neutrality towards utilizing TikTok social media as a learning medium. The results suggest that TikTok social media can serve as a catalyst for students’ curiosity, facilitating the learning of scientific writing, and fostering increased enthusiasm and interest in the learning process. Future research should consider expanding the sample size and incorporating comparison groups to gain further insights in this field. This study contributes by providing initial evidence on the potential of TikTok as a learning resource, highlighting its impact on students’ motivation and interest in scientific writing, and identifying opportunities for integrating social media in higher education to overcome writing obstacles.
