AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui model pembelajaran discovery learning berbantuan smart sticker mampu meningkatkan disposisi matematik dan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 40 Semarang. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling, diperoleh kelas VIII H sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII E sebagai kelas kontrol. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji proporsi dan uji ketidaksamaan dua rata-rata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil tes kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas eksperimen mencapai nilai lebih dari 65 dan lebih dari 70% siswa di kelas eksperimen mencapai nilai lebih dari 65. Kemampuan berpikir kritis dan disposisi matematik siswa kelas eksperimen lebih baik dari kelas kontrol dan dinyatakan meningkat dibandingkan hasil pretest. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Discovery Learning berbantuan Smart Sticker dapat meningkatkan disposisi matematik dan kemampuan berpikir kritis.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to find out that discovery learning model which is assisted by smart sticker can improve mathematical disposition and critical thinking skills. The method used in this research is quantitative research methods. The population in this study is eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 40 Semarang. Sampling was carried out by cluster random sampling technique, is obtained as an experimental class in eighth grade H and the eighth grade E as a control. Analysis of the data used is the proportion test, and test two average inequality. The result show that the test result of student's critical thinking skills experiment class reached a value of more than 65 and more than 70% student in experimental class reached a value of more than 65. Critical thinking skills and mathematical disposition of experiment class better than control class and declared that increased if compared to the pretest. The final conclusion is that discovery
PENDAHULUANMatematika adalah ilmu pengetahuan yang di pelajari pada setiap jenjang pendidikan karena memiliki peran penting untuk membentuk manusia berkualitas baik. Melalui pembelajaran matematika, peserta didik diharapkan memiliki kemampuan berpikir logis, analitis, sistematis, kritis, dan kreatif, serta memiliki kemampuan bekerja sama (BSNP, 2006). Kemampuan berpikir kritis merupakan salah satu poin penting yang akan dicapai dalam pembelajaran matematika. Mathematics anxiety will cause students to become depressed during mathematics learning. This results in students not being able to receive and understand the lesson well. The next thing that happens is that students' solving abilities cannot develop and eventually their learning outcomes become less complete. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of mathematics anxiety on students' problem solving abilities. This study uses the SLR (Systematic Literature Review) method. The result of this research is the effect of math anxiety on problem solving ability is negative. Based on the studies reviewed, it can be concluded that the high level of students' mathematics anxiety means that the problem solving ability produced is low, and vice versa. Problem solving ability is strongly influenced by students' mathematical anxiety. Then the math anxiety arises, one of the causes is that students are less able to understand the concept of the material presented. So as a teacher or teacher, the first thing to fix is to instill in students not to be afraid of mathematics, because mathematics is not as difficult as imagined.
Abstract.Teachers need always to improve their competencebecause of the growth of science very rapidly as well as elementary school teachers. However, the provision of training will not produce an increase in the competence effectively if itis implemented without considering the needs and interests of teachers. The novelty factor which is highlighted through this research results, want to answer a problem, namely: how to conduct an effective training based on the needs and interests of teachers so that the effects of training can improve the competence of teachers? After going throughresearch for twoyears with aqualitative approach which was preceded by a visit to the school and a series of interviews, treatment of training model, FGD, and triangulation then have been produced a way to implement of training based on the needs and interests of teachers. The training model includes face to face training which structured and scheduled according to the needs of elementary school teachers, followed by workshops, simulations, then the coach holds guidance in the classroom, and ends with reflections.
