Presently, indigenous knowledge is recognized as valuable in the development of the indigenous peoples. Unfortunately, it runs the risk of disappearing for various reasons and it is of dire need to win it back and preserve it and one way to do so is through the tools the ICT give us. In this paper a proposal is made to create a virtual community, referred to as CV (comunidad virtual), that allows the creation of digital lockers where ancestral wisdom can be stored.
A program which calculates the cardiac cycle in a hearts wall from the cable equation by Morris-Lecar [2] is presented. The entrances in the equation are ionic concentrations [4] of calcium-potassium of a patient with cardiac problems. The hypothesis is to determine if the patient could suffer from arrhythmia. The simulation of the program [3] is based on the initial myoelectrical voltage in repose, the capacitance, the admittance, and the calcium-potassium bomb which act along the cellular membrane. A prediction of the possible arrhythmia in hyperpotassiumia that the patient had, which was proved with the myoelectric study done in the hospital is determined in simulation. This program could be used in patients with cardiac problems in order to find a possible arrhythmia.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
