K-Means is a simple clustering algorithm that has the ability to throw large amounts of data, partition datasets into several clusters k. The algorithm is quite easy to implement and run, relatively fast and efficient. Another division of K-Means still has several weaknesses, namely in determining the number of clusters, determining the cluster center. The results of the cluster formed from the K-means method is very dependent on the initiation of the initial cluster center value provided. This causes the results of the cluster to be a solution that is locally optimal. This research was conducted to overcome the weaknesses in the K-Means algorithm, namely: improvements to the K-Means algorithm produce better clusters, namely the application of Sum Of Squared Error (SSE) to help K-Means Clustering in determining the optimum number of clusters, From this modification process, it is expected that the cluster center obtained will produce clusters, where the cluster members have a high level of similarity. Improving the performance of the K-Means cluster will be applied to determining the number of clusters using the elbow method.
Salah satu teknik dalam Data Mining yaitu clustering. Clustering adalah pengelompokan sejumlah data atau objek ke dalam cluster (group) sehingga setiap dalam cluster tersebut akan berisi data yang semirip mungkin dan berbeda dengan objek dalam cluster yang lainnya. K-means mempunyai kemampuan mengelompokkan data dalam jumlah yang cukup besar dengan waktu komputasi yang relatif cepat dan efisien. Penelitian ini membahas tentang penerapan data mining pada Online Reviews pada data TripAdvisor, menggunakan algoritma K-Means Clustering untuk menghasilkan profile yang memiliki kemiripan yang tinggi . Implementasi proses K-Means Clustring menggunakan Weka, Atribut yang digunakan adalah art galeries, dance clubs, juice bars, restaurants, museums, resorts, park/picnic spots, beaches, theaters dan religious institutions. Menghasilkan jumlah cluster 4 (k=4) dengan cluster pertama sebanyak 178 (18%) reviews traveler, cluster kedua 243 (25%) reviews traveler, cluster ketiga 228 (23%) reviews traveler, cluster keempat 331(34%) reviews traveler.

Rooster Brood as one of the businesses in the culinary field that currently does not have a system that can work optimally, especially in the sales department. In the sales data management process, which still uses a recording system using a book, it can cause errors in inputting order data and other errors so that the resulting sales reports are not very accurate. The author in this case the opportunity to make a sales information system design based on the results of research that has been done. The design of this system is carried out using a programming language and several software with the aim of creating a system that provides information, input data and performs data management and produces reports that can be accessed easily through electronic devices. It is hoped that the design of this system can be useful for Rooster Brood in its business activities, especially in the sales department so that the data and information provided are more structured and accurate.

In addition, the problem that often occurs in a medicine store is that there is expired medicine that is not known quickly because there is no notification, and if you want to find out the existing stock you must look for one by one on the medicine stock card. The medicine inventory information system at Anugerah Jaminpa medicine store is needed as a means of containing medicine data information, stock data information, employee data information, supplier data information, sales data information, purchase data information and reports.
