This study aims to determine the effect of managerial skills of a headmaster to the effectiveness of islamic senior high school in Jombang District. This research is a quantitative study with a type of survey approach. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents, namely teachers from 4 islamic senior high schools in Jombang District as samples of this study. The research data were obtained from a questionnaire containing 45 statements regarding managerial skills and school effectiveness. The results of this study found that managerial skills of a headmaster affected school effectiveness. The results of the test of the individual parameters significance state that managerial skills (conceptual, human, and technical) are respectively influential by 72%, 75%, and 62% on school effectiveness. Meanwhile, simultaneously managerial skills have an effect of 77% on school effectiveness.
This study was conducted to determine the management of students with special needs in schools at State Junior High School 30 Surabaya and Alam Insan Mulia Junior High School Surabaya by paying attention to student management which includes: (a) student planning, (b) student coaching , (c) student evaluation and (d) student mutation. Based on the problems or case studies that occur, at State Junior High School 30 Surabaya and Alam Insan Mulia Junior High School Surabaya, the management of students with special needs has many problems such as a lack of cooperation between educators and inadequate management processes for students with special needs. The method used is qualitative research, with a type of case study because it aims to obtain in-depth data and information so that the aim is to determine the implementation of management for students with special needs. The subjects of this study were the principal, deputy principal of student affairs, school teachers, coordinator of inclusion, teachers and homeroom teachers as well as most students with special needs from each school. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this study was an interactive analysis model consisting of three components, namely data condensation, data triangulation, data presentation and conclusion drawing.The results of research obtained at State Junior High School 30 Surabaya and Alam Insan Mulia Junior High School Surabaya show that the management of students carried out is mostly in accordance with the indicators in this study. The planning, coaching, evaluation and transfer processes are carried out in accordance with the procedures, vision and mission of the school and regulations of the education office. The inhibiting factors found were the lack of communication and cooperation between teachers, student coordinators with special needs and parents. This research is expected to be useful for researchers studying the field of inclusion and student management.
Hearing impairment in children may inhibit their language skill, which in turn disturbs their social interaction. Even though other potentialities in those children may be promising, such impairment may give difficulties in their improvement, a condition that is not in line with the objective of psychiatry. This research was aimed to identify the influence of speech training with a communicative approach to language skill, I.e., in on word identification, speech reading and pronunciation, in preschool deaf children. This research used a quasiexperimental pretest-posttest control group design. Results showed that the paired t-test indicated the significant influence of speech training in both groups, whereas, the t-test showed that speech training given to experimental group had significant influence compared to that given to control group.
The innovation of braille makes learning for children with visual impairments easier. The breakthrough braille innovation developed is able to encourage the creation of creative, active, and practical learning for children with visual impairments. This study aims to collect and analyze articles related to innovation technology of braille for teaching and learning process to visual impairment. The design of study used literature review that use data collection methods with search related topics, data analysis and also writing research results. The results of this study that braille innovations technology for reading, writing and conceptualizing of reading are useful in the learning process of children with visual impairments.
BAMBU VPC adalah singkatan dari tujuh program unggulan tanpa tatap muka, yakni Bermain Bersama Mama (BBM), Ar Rohmah Membaca (ARCA), Mama Cerdas Mama Ar Rohmah (McMa), Belajar Aktif Cara Rahma & Rahim (BACRA), Ummi-App, Virtual Sapa Pagi (VISPA), dan Privat Call (PC). Diterapkan sebagai alternatif solusi untuk mencegah learning loss dan menjaga ekspektasi Wali murid terhadap RA Ar Rohmah di era pandemic covid-19. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan rencana, implementasi, faktor pendukung, dan faktor penghambat. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Data pendukung diperoleh dengan teknik wawancara secara langsung dan tidak langsung, observasi, serta dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan teknik reduksi, display, dan kemudian ditarik kesimpulan. Keabsahan data didukung dengan teknik trianggulasi dan prolonged engagement. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa; 1) Implementasi BAMBU VPC berpedoman pada kurkulum darurat RA Ar Rohmah 2020/2021; 2) Faktor pendukung BAMBU VPC adalah kematangan rencana, sarana pendukung dan kesatuan tim kerja yaitu Kepala RA, Guru dan Orang tua; 3) Faktor penghambat BAMBU VPC adalah kesibukan beberapa orang tua dan sinyal internet pada moda DARING. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan BAMBU VPC mampu mengoptimalkan kurikulum darurat di era pandemi covid-19 pada RA. Ar rohmah Mojokerto Provinsi Jawa Timur.
