Kulit singkong merupakan limbah pangan yang memiliki kandungan pati yang cukup tinggi, sehingga berpotensi untuk dijadikan bahan baku pembuatan energi alternatif yaitu etanol. Pada penelitian kali ini kulit singkong yang sudah dikeringkan dibuat menjadi tepung kulit singkong, selanjutnya dilakukan hidrolisa dengan menggunakan dua jenis katalis asam yaitu HCl dan H2SO4 untuk mencari katalis terbaik pada proses hidrolisa. Pada proses hidrolisa juga dilakukan perbandingan kecepatan pengadukan dan suhu hidrolisa untuk mencari hubungan antara kecepatan pengadukan dan pengaruh suhu terhadap reaksi hidrolisa. Setelah proses hidrolisa, larutan glukosa yang dihasilkan dilanjutkan dengan proses fermentasi dengan menggunakan yeast. Pada proses hidrolisa dengan menggunakan HCl dan H2SO4 dilakukan analisa kadar glukosa dengan menggunakan refractometer glukosa sehingga didapatkan konsentrasi glukosa dengan menggunakan katalis asam klorida sebesar 12 °Brix sedangkan pada katalis asam sulfat didapatkan gula sebesar 10 °brix. Temperatur Hidrolisa mempengaruhi perolehan gula. Pada tahapan fermentasi gula dapat dihasilkan oleh yeast, Konsentrasi alkohol tertinggi yang diukur menggunakan refractometer alkohol sebesar 29 % volume oleh proses hidrolisa menggunakan katalis asam klorida, sedangkan pada katalis asam sulfat didapat alkohol sebesar 30 % volume.
The numerical method is a technique used to formulate mathematical problems so that it can be solved using ordinary arithmetic operations. In general, numerical methods are used to solve mathematical problems that cannot be solved by ordinary analytic methods. In the Numerical Method, we recognize two types of systems of equations, namely the Linear Equation System and the Non-Linear Equation System. Each system of equations has several methods. In the Linear Equation System between methods is the Gauss Elimination method, the Gauss-Jordan Elimination method, the LU (Lower-Upper) Decomposition method. And for Non-Linear Equation Systems between the methods are the Bisection method, the Regula Falsi method, the Newton Raphson method, the Secant method, and the Fix Iteration method. In this study, researchers are interested in analyzing 2 methods in the Non-Linear Equation System, the Newton-Raphson method and the Secant method. And this analysis process uses the Java programming language tools, this is to facilitate the analysis of method completion algorithm, and monitoring in terms of execution time and analysis of output results. So we can clearly know the difference between what happens between the two methods.
In general, the process of delivering food is still done traditionally, for example food vendors in the cafeteria by way of delivering food orders and bringing food using the hands of food vendors to the buyer's table. Food delivery is traditionally considered ineffective as food vendors have to walk back and forth to deliver food and leave other jobs. For that we need to designed a system of food delivery robot useful for the seller to help deliver food, The prototype design of food delivery robot using Arduino Mega microcontroller, the robot has a place to put food, and able to walk with the DC motor on the wheel. For movement of the robot body direction using a single servo motor and ethernet shield and TP-Link as a communication bridge between Web Browser with Arduino Mega. Web Browser has a function as a user interface that can be used by food vendors to control the robot. The existence of prototype food delivery robot is expected to help the activities of delivering food made by food vendors well so that food vendors can do other more mainstream jobs
Rice field environments and bird attacks are the main problems for coverage and automatic pest control. Birds are one of several pests or destructive animals that can be found in rice fields. In general, farmers use traditional equipment such as plastic ropes and scarecrow to ward off these bird attacks. This research compares several methods of bird detection through camera sensors and chooses the best method in terms of accuracy, then applies it to repel birds automatically by utilizing sound frequencies that are disliked by birds and can repel bird pests. The design of the Bird repellent device works by utilizing computer vision techniques through camera sensors to capture bird objects in each frame, then it is processed by a microcontroller. After the object is captured on the camera, the microcontroller will activate the actuator in the form of sound frequency. The research objective is to design prototypes for the process of monitoring and automatic control of bird attacks to optimize crop yields in agriculture, based on the Internet of Things.
In the field of computer science the efforts made in solving a problem are to use systematic, logical, and strategic flow and steps. These steps are known as algorithms. So many algorithms exist for solving a particular problem. In connection with this paper the algorithm discussed is about the data sorting algorithm, among the few known are: Merge, Selection, Insertion, Bubble, Quick, Heap, Shell. All of these algorithms have advantages and disadvantages of each. One interesting algorithm to be implemented on 2 models of data sorting variants is the Bubble Sort algorithm, the reason is that this algorithm has a fairly long and detailed process flow to produce sequential data sequences from previously unsordered data sequences. And the purpose of implementing them using the language of the program is to be able to provide a translation picture of a complicated and long Bubble Sort algorithm that becomes easier and concise to solve using the program language, which in this case uses the Java program language. For ascending sequencing moving from left to right the method is by shifting the larger values to the right position in sequence, so that finally the smaller values are on the left, whereas for descending sorting moving from left to right the method is by shifting the smaller values to the right position in sequence, so that finally the larger values are on the left. And the programming technique differs only in relation operators that are used against the data being compared.
