Natali, my fellow PhD student on the GeoIllustrator project. It has been very nice to be a part of this fine group of very talented people. I am very grateful, thank you all! I want to thank Morten Bendiksen for our collaboration during his MSc studies and I want to thank the present MSc students that I have interacted with; Andreas Lind, Geir Smestad, and Kristin Løfgren. I also want to thank the present and former members of the administration at the Department of Informatics, UiB for all the administrative assistance I have received.Finally, I want to thank all my friends, especially Stian Anfinsen, Dag Magne Ulvang, Martin Tvilde, and Brede Abbedissen for many extracurricular activities in order to wind down from my PhD work. I want to thank the rest of my family and my families in law. I am especially grateful for all the assistance I have received from my mother, Ragnhild Mølster Lidal, looking after my boys several times a week. Thank you!
