A multidisciplinary approach would standardize the decisions made about the care needed by people with dementia on the cusp of care home admission. The results suggest that certain individuals could be appropriately diverted from care home entry if suitable community services were available.
Relying on regularities of Estonian schoolchildren's body build, height and weight norms and a somatotypic height-weight classification were created for Estonian schoolchildren aged 7-18 years.
Based on research results of women's, men's and children's body build, we present the arithmetic means of adult Estonian men and women (aged 20-70 years) as the national norms. Classifications based on gender and age enable to somatotype the subjects according to the classes of the classification.
