Background and Study Aim. Athlete-students continue their athletic careers at a professional level during their education, or many try to pursue alternative career paths. While much attention has been given to Athlete-students' academic progress and graduation rates in the literature, little attention has been paid to their attitudes towards career values and career awareness. Therefore, this study aimed to determine the career awareness and career values of athletes-students according to some demographic variables. Material and Methods. This cross-sectional descriptive-correlational study was performed in the Sports Science Faculty of Kahramanmaras Sutcu Imam University of Turkey which forms the universe of the study. A total of 334 (162 female and 172 male) athletes-students who were undergraduate students in the sports sciences faculty of the university participated in the research. The data collection tool in the study "Professional Career Awareness Scale", and "Career Values Scale" was used. T-test and One-Way ANOVA tests were used to perform the differential analysis and Pearson Correlation analysis was used to determine the correlation between variables. Results. According to the results of the research, it was found that scores of the professional career values and career values of the athletes-students were at a moderate level. It was observed that the students' career values dimensions perception scores differed according to their perception scores and gender, department, class, age variables; there was no difference between the variable of being a licensed athlete and the dimensions. Differences were observed between career awareness dimensions, professional development disposition, and department and age variables. There was no difference between career awareness dimensions and gender, status of being a licensed athlete, and class variable. In addition, it is seen that there is a low and moderate relationship between professional career awareness and career values sub-dimensions. Conclusions. According to these results, it can be said that due to the lack of standardized measures of athlete-student career development, career awareness and career values are at a moderate level and their perceptions differ according to their demographic characteristics.
Bu araştırmanın amacı, bireylere sporda sürdürülebilir yaşamın kazandırılabilmesi ve gelecek nesillere aktarılması adına beden eğitimi öğretmenlerinin sporda sürdürülebilirliğe yeterliliği açısından belirlenmesidir. Araştırmanın evrenini Kahramanmaraş İli merkezindeki ortaokul ve liselerdeki beden eğitimi öğretmenleri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini ise, 2019-2020 Eğitim-Öğretim yılında Kahramanmaraş ili merkezinde bulunan ortaokul ve liselerde görev yapan 232 beden eğitimi öğretmenleri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak, katılımcıların demografik özelliklerini belirlemeye yönelik değişkenler ve Koçak vd., (2013) tarafından geliştirilen 35 maddelik 6 alt boyuttan oluşan "Sporda Sürdürülebilirlik Ölçeği (SSÖ)" kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde frekans ve yüzde hesaplanmaları yapılmış ve verilerin dağılımının belirlenmesi için skewness ve kurtosis değerleri incelenmiştir. Verilerin analizinde; t testi ve tek yönlü varyans analizi (ANOVA) kullanılmıştır (p<0.05). Araştırma sonucunda sporda sürdürülebilirlik boyutları bakış açılarında; cinsiyete göre farklılık bulunmuş erkek beden eğitimi öğretmenlerin algılamaları kadınlara göre ve takım sporuyla uğraşanların bireysel sporla uğraşanlara göre algılamaları yüksek bulunmuştur. Yaşları genç ve meslekte çalışma yılı az olan öğretmenlerin ise sporda sürdürülebilirlik algılamaları düşük çıkmıştır. Sonuç olarak beden eğitimi öğretmenlerinin orta düzeyde sporda sürdürülebilirlilik algılaması içerisinde olduğu sonucuna ulaşıldı.

Background and Aim: This study seeks to examine whether there is a difference between the level of relationship between teachers' individual innovativeness perceptions and their life satisfaction and whether there is a difference in terms of some demographic variables during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: The research is a quantitative study and was carried out in relational screening model. The sample of the study consists of 335 teachers working in schools affiliated to the Kahramanmaras Central District National Education Directorates. The data of the research was analysed using the Jamovi 1.6.12 statistical software program. Results and Conclusion:: As a result of the research, it was seen that the majority of the teachers were in the questioning and pioneering groups based on the scores of the individual innovativeness scale,. Significant differences were found in the scores of the participants' individual innovativeness scale sub-dimensions in terms of gender, marital status, branch, and sports status. On the other hand, there were no significant differences in life satisfaction scale scores in terms of gender, marital status, and branch variables (p>0.05); It was found that there was a significant difference in terms of the variable of doing sports (p>0.05); In addition, no significant relationship was found between the sub-dimensions of resistance to change, opinion leadership, openness to experience, and risk-taking and life satisfaction. Takım sporları içerisinde, takımı oluşturan sporcuların birbirleri arasındaki etkileşimleri önemlidir. Yine takım içinde etkileşimin bir diğer unsuru antrenörün sporcuya karşı tutum ve davranışlarıdır. Bu çalışma, Türkiye'de çeşitli bisiklet takımları içerisinde, antrenörlerin sporculara karşı tutum ve davranışlarını incelemek amacıyla tamamı farklı kulüplerde yer alan 11 sporcu (6 erkek, 5 kadın) görüşleri incelenmiştir. Çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden fenomenoloji deseni tercih edilmiş olup, verilerin toplanılmasında önceden hazırlanmış olan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen veriler içerik analizi kullanılarak yorumlanmış ve sporcuların antrenörlerinin davranış ve tutumlarına ilişkin görüşleri belirlenen alt temalarda incelenmiştir. Antrenörlerin yapılan antrenmanın neden yapıldığı hakkında sporcuları bilgilendirdikleri ve aldıkları eğitim doğrultusunda yeterli bilgiye de sahip oldukları katılımcılar tarafından ifade edilmiştir. Ayrıca ekip içerisinde yetenekli sporcuyu tespit etmede antrenman ve müsabaka derecelerine bakıldığı, antrenmanda ya da müsabakada sporcuyu serbest bırakılması sporcu neslinde disiplinsizlik olarak algılandığı sonucuna varılmıştır.
