The investigation of radial growth may be performed in different aspects. The indication significance ofthis parameter is great, and the potential of its using has not fully exhausted. Different features of radialgrowth variability in Scots pine stands from Tyumen region (West Siberia, Russia) are present at the article.Chronologies from the Russian Federal Agency Forestry Database of the Dendrochronological InformationCharacteristics were used for investigation. Climatic influences on radial growth of Scots pine (Pinus sylvestrisL.) in different forests sites were established. As a result of dendroclimatic analysis, it was found that thedistribution of reliable values of correlation coefficients by month in the current year and in the previousyear is specific for different chronologies, which reflectsthe specifics of the environmental conditions ofgrowth in the sample areas. There is drought dependent climatic signal in the chronologies. The usingmethodological approaches have perspectives for investigations in the sphere of forest science.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
