As the first stage of cultural heritage preservation, documentation should be done. This study aims to recommend the most appropriate technique after comparing different techniques in documentation. Iasos Bouleuterion, the study material, was documented through three methods as traditional survey method, terrestrial laser scanning method and photogrammetric method. These techniques were compared in terms of measurement accuracy. In addition to this, comparison was made through digital data and SWOT analysis. As a result of the comparison, it is seen that there was no significant difference among the techniques in terms of measurement accuracy. However, it is possible to say from the literature that traditional survey method is open to error. According to the digital data and SWOT analysis evaluations, photogrammetric method has more advantages than the other techniques such as especially quick and easy application, three-dimensional modelling and giving coordinates. Considering there is a number of cultural heritage sites needing to be documented in our country, photogrammetric technique is recommended in terms of saving time.
