Cultural Rhetoric is the tool with which culture makes society reinvent itself through language. In Victorian Culture, the struggle to be represented supposed a look to the future through a return to the classical world by means of the updating of Rhetoric. In other words, the interest in the ancient societies of Asia and the Mediterranean had awakened within Victorian society. In this updating process, Cultural Rhetoric achieves a new approach to the concepts of Politics, Gender and Society. For this reason, Cultural Rhetoric manages to be that specific instrument with which new cultural acceptances are made within Victorian Society.

La traslación es un marco en el que giran tropos como la metáfora y la analogía y está presente en la concepción del imaginario de Utopía de Tomás Moro. En este trabajo realizamos un análisis de estos recursos traslaticios desde la Retórica Cultural que es la más reciente aportación a los Estudios de la Cultura realizada por Tomás Albaladejo: por ello estudiamos la dimensión retórica de la obra y de los elementos culturales presentes en Utopía considerando esta obra como una construcción cultural. Se plantean explicaciones culturales a la presencia de los elementos metafóricos y ficcionales de la obra teniendo en cuenta que los elementos reales constituyen uno de los ejes decisivos de este texto, como motor y proceso creador de lo imaginario.

La Retórica Cultural es un instrumento eficaz para el estudio de la transferibilidad de textos literarios y del lenguaje poético a la publicidad audiovisual actual, dentro del ámbito de la cultura y del imaginario conceptual. Se analizan, a este efecto, cuatro textos poéticos canónicos realizando una crítica transferencial.

Adolescence is a critical period for the acquisition of healthy habits. Every day there is more evidence that lifestyle has a deeply influence on the health of individuals. For this reason, the adoption of healthy habits or changing bad habits will provide beneficial effects on both health and people´s quality of life. Sport practice in adolescents is being analyzed through this paper. Our empirical work has been focused on teen immigrant population who currently lives in the town of Cuenca (Spain).Therefore, a survey has been conducted among this kind of population in order to obtain a complete profile of them and to make a comparison with the teen native population in Cuenca in forthcoming research.
