In the present study, an attempt was made to analyze the activities of "Lebensborn" (source of life), established under the auspices of SS reichsfuhrer G. Himmler, whose task was to fundamentally improve the racial characteristics of the German nation. The ultimate goal of this policy was the development of a flawless racial superman who was considered one of the most important factors in securing Nazi Germany's world domination. The Lebensborn phenomenon is considered in a broad cognitive context in the cognitive understanding of the mechanism for legitimizing Nazi legal policy, considering the characteristics of the legal and political culture of the Third Reich ideology. Using a wide range of archival documents, including the Lebensborn Charter, as well as research publications, the authors identified and analyzed the organization's main orientations and results. The special focus is on the creation in the third Reich of Lebensborn specialized parent houses, in addition, the second is considered in the context of the legitimacy of racial legal policies.
The article identifies and analyzes the most important area of the organization “Strength through Joy” and its contribution to the support of the Hitler regime by industrial workers in Germany. Created by the Nazis under the auspices of the German Labor Front, which replaced the traditional trade unions, this organization made one of the main emphasis on the mass cultivation of tourism on favorable terms in the ranks of the working community. Having become one of the most important areas of social policy in the Third Reich, the tourism activities of the “Force through Joy” served as one of the effective means of legitimizing Nazi power in the eyes of that part of German society that initially took a hostile position towards them.
The article is devoted to the analysis of the main legislative acts adopted in Nazi Germany between 1933 and 1939 that determined the legal status of civil servants in the Third Reich and regulated all aspects of their life and work. The main aspects of the problem are considered in terms of various approaches to the selection of criteria for legal progress, which actualizes the stated topic and allows considering the aspects of the legal life of the Third Reich previously neglected by researchers. The present work particularly focuses on the policy of Nazification of the public service sector, i.e. the racial component of the development strategy of Nazi bureaucratic law, in particular the discriminatory provisions of the Law on the Restoration of Professional Bureaucracy of 1933 and the Law on German Bureaucracy of 1937, on the basis of which access to the bureaucracy was closed to representatives of the "non-Aryan" population of Germany. Emphasis is put on the fact that, despite the dissatisfaction of part of the bureaucracy with their financial situation and lengthening of the working week, most public servants remained faithful to the regime throughout its existence, acting as a reliable support.
The article presents an analysis of the legislative framework and the main lines of activity of the “National Socialist People's Welfare” organization (NSV) that operated in Germany during the Hitler regime. The functioning of the NSV was one of the most important social programs carried out in the framework of the National Socialist social policy. The organization’s mission was to provide material assistance to needy compatriots who included exclusively “full-fledged” racial representatives of the German population, carriers of the national socialist worldview. The activities of the NSV, along with other areas of Nazi social legal policy contributed to the consolidation of society around the Nazi regime and legitimized its institutions.
