The article provides a brief analysis of the state and identifies the main problems of the existing system of evacuation of armored military equipment samples. Based on the results of the analysis proposals have been developed for the creation of an armored repair and evacuation robotic complex, requirements for its main components have been formulated.
In the article, based on the analysis of combat properties and the formation of a preliminary list of representative tactical and technical characteristics of active exoskeletons for military purposes, a methodological approach to their analytical evaluation according to the criterion «military-technical level – cost» is proposed in order to implement measures of program–target planning for the development of elements of military equipment.
The article provides a brief analysis of the existing scientific and technical groundwork created by Russian and for-eign experts in the field of development of exoskeletal structures for military purposes. It proposes a list of the main tactical and technical requirements for active exoskeletons of the assault type based on the results of the analysis, taking into account the main directions for improving of the combat equipment of military personnel.
The article defines the role and place of exoskeletal structures for military purposes in the military equipment of military personnel, and provides a brief analysis of the functional tasks assigned to them. Based on the results of the analysis, a new formulation of the concept of «military exoskeletons» is proposed, and the order of their classification is recommended. Based on the practical experience of creating and using exoskeletons for military purposes, a general description of all the proposed classification groups and their features is given. Key words Military exoskeleton, military combat equipment, classification groups, active assault-type exoskeleton, passive exoskeleton, explosive exoskeleton, rigging exoskeleton, medical exoskeleton.
The paper proposes a possible methodological approach to testing of passive military exoskeletons in order to assess the effectiveness of their use under the criterion of reducing the load on the operator, and considers the procedure for optimal adjustment (fitting) of the exoskeleton elements to the anthropometric parameters of a combatant. In the final part of the work, the list of priority efforts aimed at the implementation of a unified technical policy in the field of organization and testing of military exoskeletons has been kept up to date.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
