En primer lugar, quiero dar las gracias a mi director Enrique Gómez, por darme la oportunidad de pertenecer al Grupo de Bioingeniería y Telemedicina y confiar en mí para la realización de esta tesis. The proposed mHealth platform has been evaluated through a large prospective cohort study carried out within the framework of the European EmERGE project in which 2251 patients and 20 clinicians from 5 European centres have participated for 30 months. Likewise, the use of the platform by clinical staff and patients during the 18 months after the end of the study has been evaluated. The results of the evaluation have ix made it possible to verify that the platform meets the criteria of functionality, performance, interoperability, usability, maintainability and security, giving technical feasibility to interventions based on mHealth and making its use in clinical routine feasible. The platform use data reflects that its use has remained stable during the period in which the interaction of users with the platform has been analysed. The usability and acceptability results of the clinical study and the opinions received by the clinical staff and the community of the centres during the periodic follow-up meetings show the great satisfaction perceived with the use of the platform by patients and clinical professionals.x Índice de contenidosResumen __________________________________________________________ vi Capítulo 1.
