Abstract
The temperature effect on the corrosion behavior of copper that was inhibited by 3,4'-bi-1,2,4-Triazole in NaCl 3% Medium was investigated using potentiodynamic polarization techniques. Inhibition effect was found to increase with decreasing the temperature. Polarization curves showed that 3,4'-bi-1,2,4-Triazole (bTA) act as mixed type inhibitors in 3% NaCl Medium. The obtained results showed that the 3,4'-bi-1,2,4-Triazole could serve as an effective inhibitor of the copper corrosion in 3% NaCl Medium at various temperature up to 55°C.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
