The cross section asymmetry Z of the deuteron photodisintegration process d(y. pn) has been measured in the energy range 0.3-1.0 GeV for proton c~ angles of 45, 60, 75 and 90". n e data obtained are compared with predictions of the existing theoretical models, based on the conventional approach, as well as with the results of Kharkov multipole analysis which takes into account the contribution of dibaryon resonances. Neither of these theoretical models describes the experimental data satisfactorily.
The cross section asymmetry Σ has been measured for the photoproduction of π • -mesons off protons, using polarized photons in the energy range E γ = 0.5 − 1.1 GeV. The CM angular coverage is θ * π = 85 • − 125 • with energy and angle steps of 25 MeV and 5 • , respectively. The obtained Σ data, which cover the second and third resonance regions, are compared with existing experimental data and recent phenomenological analyses. The influence of these measurements on such analyses is also considered.
AbsbacL An experimental sNdy of Canpton scanering 00 pmtons by Linearly polarized photons has been carried out m the kinematical m g e E , = 0.5-1.0 CcV and 6' ; . = 85-125". Results oblained on Ihe a s s -s e c t i o n asymmetry X are cmpared wilh the various model predidim.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
