In Morocco, the affirmation of the existence of territorial regimes throughout time has corresponded not only to periods of political stability but also to economic progress. Since the middle of the 1990s and particularly since the announcement of the advanced regionalization, regions have been entrusted with new missions. Thus one can predict that the evolution of Morocco rests on the region and that de state with territorial organization is substituted for the unitary state. Our research on the marketing of regions will be seen directly in this perspective. Currently, the city of Tangier takes up the second rank in terms of the size of economic projects as well as the second position in touristic earnings.
