Corrugated Board is one of the most widely used packaging materials. Packaging materials shall have strength against impact or pressure when handling, transporting or storing. Corrugated board to be used as packaging material must meet the required BCT and ECT values. The purpose of this research is to know the value of Box Compression Test (BCT), Edge Crush Test (ECT), Flat Crush Test (FCT) and Bursting Strength (BS) before and after printed and to know its influence of print process to BCT and ECT value. The results show that there is decreasing values on the box after printing, which indicates the effect of printing process on compressive strength of corrugated board. The correlated values before printing are as follows: BCT value is 120.6 Kgf, ECT value is 1,961 Kgf, FCT value is 0.65 KgF, and BS value is 6.75 Kgf. Meanwhile, the values after printing are as follows: BCT value is 88.25 Kgf, ECT value 1,679 Kgf, FCT value is 0.12 KgF and BS value is 5.81 Kgf. The results show that there is decreasing values on the box after printing, which indicates the effect of printing process on compressive strength of corrugated board.Key words: corrugated board, Box Compression Test, Edge Crush Test, Bursting StrengthABSTRAKSalah satu material yang banyak digunakan untuk kemasan adalah karton gelombang (Corrugated board). Material kemasan harus memiliki kekuatan terhadap benturan atau tekanan saat penanganan, pemindahan, maupun penyimpanan. Untuk dapat digunakan sebagai material kemasan, karton gelombang harus memenuhi nilai BCT dan ECT yang telah dipersyaratkan. Dalam produksi kemasan, sering terjadi permasalahan box kemasan rusak dan tidak mampu menahan beban, padahal karton gelombang yang digunakan sudah memenuhi persyaratan nilai BCT dan ECT. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui nilai BCT, ECT, FCT dan BS sebelum dan sesudah dicetak serta mengetahui pengaruh proses cetak terhadap nilai BCT dan ECT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai BCT corrugated pada saat sebelum dicetak adalah 120,6 Kgf, sedangkan nilai ECT sesudah dicetak adalah 88,25 Kgf. Nilai ECT sebelum dicetak adalah 1,961 Kgf dan nilai ECT sesudah dicetak adalah 1.679 Kgf. Untuk nilai Flat crush Test sebelum dicetak adalah 0.65 KgF, sedangkan nilai FCT sesudah dicetak adalah 0,12 KgF. Nilai Bursting strength box sebelum dicetak adalah 6.75 Kgf dan bursting strength setelah dicetak sebesar 5.81 Kgf. Terjadi penurunan nilai BCT, ECT, FCT, dan BS pada box setelah dicetak.
