Chair-side computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing ceramic laminate veneers were clinically successful restorations with mean survival rate of 99.0 % and success rate of 96.4 % after 5 years.
Bis-acryl interim materials exhibited higher flexural strength than the methacrylate resins tested in this study. These higher values should be considered in making interim fixed prostheses, especially when long-term use or long-span FPDs are planned.
Within the limitations of this study, it can be concluded that although the marginal and internal gaps of the studied implant-supported restorations were in the clinically acceptable range, single crowns made with CAD/CAM technology provide better marginal fit.
