Within the framework of leading-order perturbative QCD and using a frozen coupling constant, we calculate the pion and kaon form factors and the cross section of pion and kaon pair production in two-photon collisions. We use the same frozen coupling constant as taken in the nucleon Diracform-factor analysis and find that the results for the n and K form factors, the reactions y y 4 a ' a p , K ' K , and the proton Dirac form factor are in fair agreement with the available experimental data. The cutoff value of the frozen coupling constant used in our analysis is consistent with the theoretical estimation presented by Cornwall.
A perturbative QCD analysis is presented for the inclusive production of pseudoscalar and vector mesons to derive fragmentation function of heavy quarks produced in e+e-annihilation.The results with no arbitrary parameters are in reasonable agreement with experimental data for bottom and charm quark fragmentation functions.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
