The impact of Newtonian heating on a time-dependent fractional magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) Maxwell fluid over an unbounded upright plate is investigated. The equations for heat, mass and momentum are established in terms of Caputo (C), Caputo–Fabrizio (CF) and Atangana–Baleanu (ABC) fractional derivatives. The solutions are evaluated by employing Laplace transforms. The change in the momentum profile due to variability in the values of parameters is graphically illustrated for all three C, CF and ABC models. The ABC model has proficiently revealed a memory effect.
This paper is an analysis of flow of MHD CNTs of second grade nano-fluid under the influence of first order chemical reaction, suction, thermal generation and magnetic field. The fluid is flowing through a porous medium. For the study of heat and mass transfer, we applied the newly introduced differential operators to model such flow. The equations for heat, mass and momentum are established in the terms of Caputo (C), Caputo–Fabrizio (CF) and Atangana–Baleanu in Caputo sense (ABC) fractional derivatives. This shows the novelty of this work. The equations for heat, mass and momentum are established in the terms of Caputo (C), Caputo–Fabrizio (CF) and Atangana–Baleanu in Caputo sense (ABC) fractional derivatives. The solutions are evaluated by employing Laplace transform and inversion algorithm. The flow in momentum profile due to variability in the values of parameters are graphically illustrated among C, CF and ABC models. It is concluded that fluid velocity showed decreasing behavior for χ, P, ℏ2, Mo, Pr, ℵ and Sc while it showed increasing behavior for Gr, Gm, κ and Ao. Moreover, ABC fractional operator presents larger memory effect than C and CF fractional operators.
The present study was conducted with the aim to find out the relationship between resilience, mindfulness and mental health problems among COVID-19 Survivors. Data was collected online and COVID-19 survivors were recruited from general population. It was hypothesized that resilience, mindfulness does not have a significant positive relationship with mental health problems in “COVID-19” survivors. The correlation research design was used to analyze the relationship in study variables. Convenient and snowball sampling technique was used on a total number of N=200 COVID-19 survivors including 100 male and 100 female. To find out Resilience, Mindfulness and Mental Health Problems, Connor Davidson Resilience Scale, (Connor & Davidson, 2003), Mindfulness Attention Awareness Scale, (Brown & Ryan, 2003), and Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale (Lovibond & Lovibond, 1995), was used respectively. SPSS (statistical package for social sciences) software was used to analyze the data. Descriptive analyses were used to determining mean and its frequency. To see the differences and analysis of variance (ANOVA) and t-test (to compare mean between two populations) were used. The finding illustrated that resilience and mindfulness were significantly correlated with each other whereas resilience and stress showed significant mean difference in gender groups. Likewise resilience also showed significant mean difference result in family system and marital status.
Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a common, complex reproductive syndrome characterized by menstrualirregularities, hyperandrogenism, and polycystic ovaries. This study aimed to determine the role of resilience and emotional regulation and marital satisfaction in females diagnosed with the polycystic ovarian syndrome. Further, it investigated the predictors of marital satisfaction. 100 females were selected through purposive sampling from different clinics and hospitals in Lahore. State Resilience Scale, Emotional Regulation Questionnaire, and Relationship Assessment Scale were administered. Resilience and emotional regulation subscales i.e. cognitive reappraisal and expressive suppression showed a significant positive correlation with marital satisfaction. Regression analysis indicated resilience and cognitive reappraisal were significant positive predictors of marital satisfaction. T-test analysis results of group difference showed that cognitive reappraisal and expressive suppression were high in participants who do not have acne symptoms. Resilience and marital satisfaction were high in females who do not have irregularity in their menstruation cycle whereas expressive suppression was high in females who have irregularity in the menstruation cycle. This study will help to understand the PCOS problem as a matter of female health which requires attention and care to decrease the social, physical, and emotional problems arising from it.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
