In Indonesia, the morbidity rate caused by cancer is still high. Cancer can attack all levels of society regardless of social status, age and gender. According to Mardiana (2010), it is estimated that around 60% of cancer patients are women, especially in vital organs such as the breasts and other organs such as the uterus, ovaries and vagina. Awareness of the importance of understanding what and how breast cancer is very important for early adolescents so that adolescents can detect breast cancer early, detecting breast cancer can be done at health service centers, namely through Clinical Breast Examinations (CBE). This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge of young women about breast cancer with attitudes to perform Clinical Breast Examinations (CBE). This research is a descriptive study with a cross sectional approach, the sample was taken by accidental sampling technique with a sample of 150 people. The results of the study most of the respondents had poor knowledge about CBE examination, from the results of the Chi-square test, the p value of 0.980 was greater than the p table, which was 0.5, meaning that there was no relationship between the knowledge of young women and the attitude to carry out Clinical Breast Examinations (CBE). The conclusion from the results of the study is that the majority of good knowledge have attitudes in the strong category (30.6%), have good knowledge and have moderate attitudes (9.0%), lack knowledge and have attitudes in the strong category (6.5%), and lack of knowledge has an attitude in the medium category (13.9%).
The purpose of this Community Service Activity is to increase knowledge and attitudes in skills by doing exercise for pregnant women and breast care to prepare for the smooth delivery process and facilitate milk production during breastfeeding. The method used in this Community Service is to disseminate information in the form of counseling about knowledge and practice of pregnancy exercise movement techniques and breast care techniques before delivery and for breastfeeding preparation. Participants in this activity were 7 third trimester pregnant women. The evaluation of this activity is that participants can understand the material presented, it is proven that participants are enthusiastic about asking questions and are willing to directly practice pregnancy exercise techniques and correct breast care techniques. The result of this activity is that there is an increase in knowledge and enthusiasm or care for mothers or participants by participating in counseling activities by doing pregnancy exercises and breast care, seen from the post test results, it was found that participants who had good knowledge and skills increased from the seven people who attended. Most of the participants were aged 23-36 years, with the last education in high school, with all participants being housewives.
Asuhan kebidanan post partum adalah Masa pemulihan dimulai dari akhir persalinan sampai alat-alat di dalam rahim kembali seperti sebelum hamil. Asuhan kebidanan post partum dilakukan untuk memantau terjadinya tanda bahaya pada ibu post partum. Pemantauan yang dilakukan yaitu, perdarahan, pencegahan infeksi dan masalah menyusui. Masalah menyusui yang sering ditemukan ASI tidak keluar bisa disebabkan karena bendungan ASI, puting payudara tidak menonjol, teknik menyusui yang tidak benar, payudara bengkak, payudara lecet, dan mastitis. Dan faktor keberhasilan ibu dalam menyusui pada saat masa nifas adalah pada saat masa hamil, dengan perawatan payudara selama masa kehamilan. Pada tahun 2019, persentase bayi baru lahir yang mendapat IMD secara nasional sebesar 75,58%. Angka tersebut telah melampaui target renstra 2019 sebesar 50,0%. Pengetahuan ibu saat hamil sangat mendukung pengeluaran ASI, dan posisi menyusui ibu juga menjadi faktor pendukung pengeluaran dan kelancaran ASI. Tidak hanya itu, IMD juga sangat berpengaruh penting terhadap kelancaran pengeluaran ASI dan kesehatan bayi. Frekuensi menyusui yang sering juga dapat merangsang hormon prolaktin untuk pengeluaran ASI. Kata Kunci : Asuhan Kebidanan Post Partum, Menyusui
