The new method for estimating GFR had the better performances compared with the Gates' method and creatinine clearance as estimated by Cockcroft-Gault and MDRD method.

Nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) is one of common head and neck cancers which mainly threaten people in Southeast Asia. PET/CT plays an important role in radiotherapy for NPC. This article reviews the PET/CT in the diagnosis, staging, guiding treatment, monitoring of therapy efficacy, focal residual and recurrence, prognosis and progress of NPC.
