Oxidative stress plays an important role in the pathophysiology of the aging process and various degenerative diseases. Antioxidants are needed by the body to overcome and prevent oxidative stress. Plants native to Indonesia contain lots of antioxidants. The purpose of providing information or knowledge to PKK/Dawis mothers and SMA/SMK teachers about the efficacy of antioxidant therapy in preventing degenerative diseases. The method used is interactive online discussion. The 25 participants were first given a questionnaire to measure the level of participants' knowledge about the efficacy of antioxidants in the prevention of degenerative diseases. After that, the participants were given material about the efficacy of antioxidants in preventing degenerative diseases. After the activity of delivering the material, the participants were again given a questionnaire to measure the level of understanding related to the material that had been delivered. The results of the implementation of the activities and the results of the questionnaire based on the test. The results of the Mann-Whitney test showed that there was an average difference before and after participating in the training.

Parkia biglobosa contains various ingredients such as alkaloids, saponins, tannins, flavonoids, and terpenoids. The flavonoid content in kedawung is thought to have an antioxidant effect. Antioxidants have the ability to provide electrons, bind and have a free radical chain reaction chain. Currently, the microwave-assisted extraction (MAE) method is widely used because extraction using MAE can increase the mass transfer rate of solutes from the sample matrix into the solvent compared to the Soxlet method. One of the factors affecting microwave-assisted extraction is temperature because a higher temperature will increase the solubility of the solute in the solvent. The temperature is limited by the boiling point of the solvent used. This study aims to determine the effect of temperature on the solvent in order to get the best extraction results. This method uses temperature variations to determine the highest levels of flavonoids from microwave-assisted extraction of leaves and bark of kedawung, the temperature used is 30°C, 40°C, 50°C, 60°C with ethanol solvent at a wavelength of 300 W. The results of this study say that there is an effect of temperature on the extraction results. microwave-assisted to the yield of kedawung leaf extract (Parkia biglobosa) at the best temperature of 40°C. Kedawung leaves (parkia biglobosa) have high levels of flavonoids so they have antioxidant activity.
Dependence on rice and wheat can be maintained or reduced by increasing the diet through changing the image of tubers such as the local tuber Canna Edulis Kerr. The purpose of service is to improve food security in the community. The method of implementing the activity is counseling using power point media. The results of the activity went well from licensing to the end of the activity. Conclusion Participants get direct benefits related to counseling the benefits of local tuber Canna edulis kerr in the community.
