Dalam pengelolaannya IMO Sumut memiliki beberapa kekurangan, salah satunya yaitu kurangnya pengetahuan tentang penggunaan internet dan minimnya media pemasaran dan promosi. Selama ini IMO melakukan promosi dan pemasaran melalui hubungan antar teman dan mengikuti bazar diberbagi event. Tetapi kegiatan tersebut dirasa kurang maksimal karena saat ini perkembangan teknologi informasi semakin cepat, maka semakin banyak bidang yang bergantung pada teknologi informasi digital, salah satunya yaitu Website. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari kegiatan ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan IMO Sumut dalam memasarkan produk UMKM melalui internet dan mampu mengelola website sebagai media promosi. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut maka metoda yang digunakan adalah difusi iptek dalam pembuatan website katalog produk UMKM, serta sosialisasi dan pelatihan pemanfatan internet dan pengelolaan website. Hasil dari pelaksanaan kegiatan ini yaitu berupa website www.imosumut.com. Adanya peningkatan jumlah pelanggan secara signifikan pada bulan ke-4,5, dan 6. Hasil sosialisasi dan pelatihan menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan pemahaman mitra dalam menggunakan serta memanfaatkan internet sebagai media pemasaran rata-rata sebesar 76%.
Lightning is one of the primary sources that cause failure on over head transmission system. It can lead to the transmission line insulator to be over voltage. Commonly, transmissions lines are equipped with ground wire and consist of one or two ground wire which it is depending on tower construction. Over voltage on the transmission line can occur in two ways viz., direct lightning strike on phase line and ground wire produce propagating wave to both sides the phase line and result in damage on insulator. Direct lightning stroke on ground wire or the tower structure of transmission can cause phenomenon back flashover (BFO) on insulator. The lightning current characteristic is distinguished in lightning maximum current and steepness of lightning current. This paper discusses influence of in different lightning characteristics on BFO in extra high voltage transmission line in simulation using ATP draw. The lightning surge currents of IEC and VDE standards were injected to the ground wire and phase lines. As the implementation, this paper used the data of extra high voltage transmission line of 275 kV, Galang - Binjai, North Sumatra Province, Indonesia.
Bentonite-OPBA nanocomposite has been made. The preparation of OPBA and bentonite was carried out by calcination process at a temperature of 700oC for bentonite and 500 °C for OPBA and a ball mill process for 10 hours and coprecipitation method with a solution 6 M HCl. Then nano bentonite was synthesized with surfactant Cetyl Trimethyl Ammonium Bromide (CTAB). The XRD analysis obtained a Bentonite-OPBA particle size of 14.46 nm, with a Tetragonal crystal system and density of 3.01200 g/cm3. XRF analysis obtained SiO2 content of 55.1 % FTIR analysis obtained absorption band detected at 981.33 cm−1 indicates that the increase in silica strengthening has in the polymerization process.
The Covid-19 pandemic is believed to be a turning point for changes in tourism and the design of creative economy business models, including in Indonesia. Through the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, the government prepares various policy directions and strategies in tourism promotion programs during the pandemic and post-pandemic in Indonesia. Sidamanik District is one of the sub-districts in the Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra Province, which has considerable natural potential, namely natural potential in the form of landscapes such as the Bah Butong Sidamanik tea garden, Bah Manik baths, and Bah Biak Waterfall. Bah Biak Waterfall has its uniqueness. Bah Biak Waterfall has a height of approximately 20 meters which immediately falls into the rocks and a swimming pool provided by the manager. The current condition experienced is the lack of visitors who come to tourist objects due to the lack of marketing and information disseminated to the broader community, especially during a pandemic like today. Along with technological advances, the development of promotional media began to shift to digital media, one of which was video. Therefore, through community service, which is one of the tri dharma of higher education and to support Strategy 7 of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy: Utilization of technology to support tourism marketing and the creative economy, our service team proposes making tourism promotion videos through video/ Digital Marketing of Bah Biak Tourism Object in Bah Biak Village, Sidamanik District. Through this video, we hope to positively impact tourist destinations, including a significant increase in the tourism sector.
