Why would one want to buy expensive popcorn at the cinema, while they could get the same with much lower price in supermarket? Economically speaking, it is a rip off. However, there is an effective psychological technique called the decoy effect that could affect our economical thinking in a way that the targeted good will be purchased even if it is overpriced. Earlier research showed that consumer's preference could be shifted when there are three options: the target, competitor, and decoy. In this IR 4.0, sellers' market their products through digital marketplaces to reach more consumers worldwide. This research analyses whether the decoy effect exists in Indonesia's digital marketplace, and what effect does customers' review has on it. Data are collected through online surveys by replicating an online shopping choice sets for a trash bin. We choose marketplace Shopee as it has some features enabling us to do the experiment. The control and treatment 1 choice-sets are used to test whether the decoy effect exists in digital market. Treatment 2 is used to measure the strength of a decoy with smaller/bigger amount of buyers, and Treatment 3 measures the strength of a decoy with positive/negative reviews. A total of 90 subjects are randomly given one choice-set. Results show that decoy effect exists in digital marketplace Shopee. Amount of buyers influences the strength of the decoy effect; smaller amount weakened it, bigger amount strengthen it. Data also suggests that decoy with negative review reduces the strength of its effect, vice versa.
<p class="Default"><strong>ABSTRAK</strong>- Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Pengaruh antara kualitas pelayanan dan kinerja karyawan Badan Pertanahan Nasional Kabupaten Kerinci terhadap kepuasan masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik <em>non probability sampling. </em>Sedangkan jenis <em>non probability sampling </em>yang digunakan adalah <em>accidental sampling. </em>Dalam penelitian ini jumlah sampel adalah sebanyak 35 orang. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linear berganda dan koefisien determinasi. Metode pengambilan data adalah dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi berganda. Hasil analisis menunjukkan persamaan regresi Y = 7,696 + 0,660 X1 + 0,080 X2. Nilai t <sub>tabel </sub> adalah 2,032 untuk penelitian ini (α = 5%). Variabel kualitas pelayanan memiliki nilai t <sub>hitung</sub> 4,998, dan variabel kinerja karyawan memiliki nilai t <sub>hitung</sub> 0,625, yang berarti faktor kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh signifikan dan memiliki arah hubungan positif sedangkan kinerja karyawanberpengaruh tidak signifikan. Selain itu, uji F menunjukkan nilai F<sub>hitung</sub>15,302 sedangkan nilai F<sub>tabel </sub> 4,139, yang berarti secara bersama-sama/simultan variabel kualitas pelayanan dan kinerja karyawan Badan Pertanahan Nasional Kabupaten Kerinci berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan masyarakat. </p><p class="Default"> </p><p class="Default"><strong>Kata kunci</strong> :Kualitas Pelayanan, Kinerja karyawan dan Kepuasan Masyarakat</p>
This research was to analize the effect of carrier development and motivation, on employees work at ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk menganalisis dampak pengembangan karir dan motivasi terhadap kinerja pegawai Dinas Koperasi dan UMKM Kabupaten Kerinci baik secara parsial dan simultan, dan juga untuk mengetahui seberapa besarnya pengaruh secara parsial dan simultan, dengan menggunakan alat analisis Skala Likert dan Analisis Regresi linear berganda, jumlah sampel yang diteliti sebanyak 41 orang yang juga merupakan jumlah seluruh populasi pegawai Dinas Koperasi dan UMKM Kabupaten Kerinci, hasil penelitian yang didapatkan adalah baik secara parsial maupun simultan variable pengembangan karir dan motivasi berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, simpulan yang didapatkan melalui penelitian ini adalah, perlunya peningkatan kegiatan-kegiatan pembinaan bagi pegawai, seperti bimbingan teknik, rapat koordinasi dsb.
<p><em>The aim of this research was to determine how much influence application leadership and environment work in </em><em>the office of </em><em>Gunung Kerinci regency with </em><em>performance </em><em>of employee.This research used quantitative method since researcher wanted to determine the measurement of X and Y variable. Population in this study is 32 people. Sampling technique used is a </em><em>full sampling</em><em> as many as 17 people. </em><em>Data analysis techniques in this study ismultiple regresion analysis and coefficient of determination analysis.Questionaires were used as a tool in data collection method. The findings show that all hypothesis were proved to be significant </em><em>leadership and environment work </em><em>have a positive and significantinfluence with </em><em>performance of employee</em><em>. The implies that played as important role</em><em>leadership and environment work </em><em>(individualy or simultaneously) in developing performance </em><em>of employee.</em><em></em></p>
