<p align="center"><strong>ABSTRACT</strong></p><p><em>The increasing of public need for health information indicates that the people are currently more aware of the importance of health care so as to avoid disease. The health promotion activities are commonly carried out by health agencies or related institutions using public service advertisement media and health campaigns which are packaged in an attractive appearance to the public. The campaign aims to give information and to increase citizen’s awareness about how important to take care of eyes health since early stage. Nowadays , our young generation is having lack of awareness about their eyes health , even own awareness and people around them . The data which is used for this research is primary data . The primary data is taken by direct survey at eye center hospital and public health goverment in palembang. Besides, the data is get by direct interviewing with one of ophtalmologist in Palembang. The secondary data is get as literature through eye health reference book, health promotion , previous report about campaign , eye healt journal , data from eye health hospital , and media which is releated to this research. Target of research is children aged 5-11 years old and their parents . The Media which is used for the campaign “How important to take care of eye health” are board game, carrot mascot, balloon, poster, and others which are interested by target of research.</em></p><p><strong><em>Keywords :</em></strong><em> Eyes Health, Public Awareness, Awareness Campaign</em></p><p align="center"><strong>ABSTRAK</strong></p><p><em>Meningkatnya kebutuhan masyarakat akan informasi tentang kesehatan menandai bahwa masyarakat saat ini lebih sadar akan pentingnya menjaga kesehatan supaya terhindar dari penyakit. Kegiatan promosi kesehatan biasanya dilakukan oleh instansi kesehatan atau lembaga terkait dengan menggunakan media iklan layanan masyarakat dan kampanye kesehatan yang dikemas dalam suatu tampilan yang menarik kepada masyarakat. Kampanye ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi dan membangkitkan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya menjaga kesehatan mata sejak dini, minim kesadarannya untuk menjaga kesehatan matanya baik itu kesadaran diri sendiri maupun dari orang sekitarnya. Data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah data primer dalam penelitian ini dengan cara melakukan survey langsung pada salah satu rumah sakit mata yang ada di Palembang dan dinas kesehatan kota Palembang, serta melakukan wawancara langsung dengan salah satu dokter mata yang ada di kota Palembang dan data sekunder didapatkan sebagai literatur dapat melalui buku-buku refrensi kesehatan mata, promosi kesehatan, laporan – laporan terdahulu mengenai kampanye, jurnal kesehatan mata, data dari rs mata kota palembang mengenai kesehatan mata serta media yang berkaitan dengan obyek penelitian. Target sasaran pada kamapanye kali ini adalah anak berusia 5-11 tahun serta orangtua anak tersebut. Media yang digunakan pada kampanye kesadaran akan pentingnya menjaga kesehatan mata sejak dini yaitu, boardgame, maskot wortet, balon, poster, dan media lainnya sehingga menarik perhatian target sasaran.</em></p><strong><em>Kata kunci</em></strong><em> : Kesehatan Mata, Kesadaran Masyarakat, Kampanye Kesehatan</em>
