This service aims to provide environmental care socialization in Pangambat village. As a tourist village, Pangambaten village has problems in dealing with environmental challenges related to environmental cleanliness, so there is a need to educate and inform the community about environmental problems. One of the commitments of the international community and government in protecting the earth from pollution and damage is through the implementation of Environmental Education, which is the key to preparing people with knowledge, expertise, values and a caring attitude so that they can actively participate in solving environmental problems. The counseling on environmental care in this service program is intended as an initial step in building a character that cares about the environment in the community. This service was carried out in Pangambaten, Tanah Karo Regency, North Sumatra Province. This service is carried out in two methods, namely the interactive presentation method. This service activity is carried out in the following stages: 1) Equalization of Community Group Perceptions, 2) Group coaching, 3) Counseling on understanding about fostering environmental concern for environmental cleanliness by reviving the tradition of mutual cooperation.
This study aims to explore the meaning of the Pakpak traditional house ornament. This study reveals the meaning that symbolically represents cultural values in the Pakpak community. This study uses a semiotic approach with qualitative descriptive research methods. The ornaments in the Pakpak traditional house imitate the shapes associated with human limbs, in the form of animals, in the form of plants and resembling the cosmos or nature. Each form of ornament has a meaning which is the cultural values that the Pakpak community believes in.
Environmental cleanliness in tourist villages, especially in Dokan Village, is the main factor that needs to be considered to increase tourist visits. A clean environment will make visitors feel comfortable, besides that it will also create a healthy and clean environment. A tourist village is a village or area that has an unusual natural wealth, the village has natural resources that other villages may not have. The tourist village area is one of the places where environmental pollution most often occurs, which is carried out by the surrounding community and the outside community. The lack of public attention to the environment is very familiar, especially in today's era. Most of them think individually and only think about themselves. So we can see for ourselves how the impact of such a people's lifestyle on the environment in the tourist village of Dokan. Garbage that is disposed of improperly causes environmental pollution which will have a negative impact on the community itself. Therefore, environmental cleanliness also needs to be considered, not just talking about environmental cleanliness and how to overcome environmental pollution problems. So, if we can keep the environment clean and preserve the natural resources that are around us, it will certainly create a comfortable, clean, and beautiful living environment. In this case, it will be discussed about the role of the Dokan village community in implementing environmental cleanliness in the tourist village area. Environmental cleanliness in the tourist village area needs to be discussed because the area is a gathering place for people from inside and outside the village. This approach is intended so that the community has an attitude of caring about environmental cleanliness and preserving the natural resources in the surrounding villages.
The scientific title is "Marhata Sinamot at the Toba Ethnic Wedding Ceremony: Anthropology Studies". This study aims to describe the performance, indexicality and participation of Marhata Sinamot at the Toba Ethnic Wedding Ceremony. The theory used to analyze the research data is the anthropolinguistic theory proposed by Duranti. By using descriptive method. The results obtained from this study are the performance in the Marhata Sinamot traditional ceremony in the Toba Ethnic community in general, namely Marhata Sinamot. In the Toba Batak community there are signs that are used as indexicality in the Marhata Sinamot traditional ceremony, namely, (1) traditional clothes, (2) ulos. And participants in the Marhata Sinamot ceremony have Dalihan Na Tolu, namely (1) Hula-hula, (2) Bone paranak, (3) Bone parboru, (4) Boru, (5) Dongan tubu, (6) Bere paranak, (7) Bere perboru and (8) Dongan Sahuta.
Tarombo merupakan silsilah garis keturunan secara patrineal dalam budaya Batak yang sudah menjadi adat atau tradisi untuk mengetahui sistem kekerabatan atau dalam menjalin hubungan, Namun adat ini sudah mulai hilang dari masyarakat Batak di karenakan banyak yang tidak menggunakan Marga di belakang nama mereka. Hal tersebut menjadikan Tarombo kehilangan daya Tariknya untuk mengetahui tarombo sesama mereka. Skripsi ini berjudul Tarombo Marga Sihombing si Opat ama Di Desa Tipang Kecamatan Bakti Raja,Kabupaten Humbang Hasundutan: Kajian Antropolinguistik. Dalam penelitian ini penulis membahas tentang Tarombo Marga Sihombing si Opat ama. di Desa Tipang Kecamatan Bakti Raja, Kabupaten Humbang Hasundutan: Kajian Antropolinguistik. Dengan memiliki Rumusan Masalah Marga apa saja yang termasuk dalam tarombo Marga Sihombing Si opat ama, apa saja hubungan marga Sihombing si opat ama, apa saja nilai dan fungsi dalam tarombo marga Sihombing si opat ama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Tarombo Marga Sihombing si opat ama. Metode yang di gunakan penulis dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Dan landasan teori yang di gunakan untuk menganalisis adalah teori antropolinguistik.
