Abstract:The combined use of a copper halide, a silver salt and a phosphane ligand was applied for the catalysis of inter-and intramolecular hydroamination of alkenes. The reactions of unactivated olefins with nitrogen substrates were investigated. Mechanistic investigations demonstrated that the catalytic system generated a Brønsted acid which appeared to be the prominent catalytic species.
Eight- and 9-membered dioxazocines and dioxazonines are readily synthesized starting from N-sulfonyl-1,2,3-triazoles in a single-step procedure. A perfect regioselectivity and generally good yields (up to 92%) are obtained under dirhodium catalysis using 1,3-dioxolane and 1,3-dioxane as solvents and reagents.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
